I'm more or less thoroughly confused by the tighter integration with PayPal. In the past, I've used mailstep to get my PayPal data to Vendio.

When I click on "learn more" in the announcement, I go to My Account/Post Sale Acceleration where I already had set up the PayPal options to have the payment post against the sale and to extract the shipping info. On that page, there's a link to "mailstep users" to click for more information. When I click on that, I get a nice red box that says that mailstep users no longer need to use the @mailstep thing and, when I click on that link to see more info about it, I go back to the first My Account/Post Sale Acceleration page where I started out, without getting good explanations of what I need to do.

Okay, so...please tell me if this is correct:

In PayPal, I cut and pasted that URL code into the IPN area and activated the IPNs from PayPal. I deleted my [email protected] entirely from PayPal and left just my primary email (which is the same as here at Vendio as well as eBay) and the second email address I have on file with PayPal.

In Vendio's My Account/Post-Sale Acceleration, I've got it set to automatically apply the payment and extract the shipping info and I have de-selected "generate WBNs using your Post-Sale Acceleration email ID".

In My Account/Personal Information, I have removed [email protected] as my alternate email address and left it blank.

And in My Account/Seller Preferences/Global, I have changed the mailstep email address to my regular email address.

Is this going to work? I feel like I've missed a step someplace...I'm trying to remember all the stuff I went through to get mailstep set up and backing it all out now -- any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Hello chunkypunkys,

Have you changed the email address on file at eBay? If you had your mailstep address on file there you will need to change it back. Other than that, looks like you've got it covered...

Thanks, Diana...never did change it at eBay to begin with (gee, guess that's why checkouts from eBay didn't update here, huh?) and so I guess I'm all set! We'll give it a whirl.
