The option of a WBN without a checkout link. All I want is a basic WBN email, no checkout, no links.
Does anyone else have a Vendio Christmas wish?

AuctionWatch had the VERY best WBN when they first started, but with all the new advances that went out the window many years ago. I got compliments on how easy it was to check-out. But now all you hear are complaints. Now the customers have to cut and paste. We are dealing with a majority of people that are computer illiterate, so why should the process be hard. Please gear everything to be simple, not for the computer nerd. Please keep evrything simple and people friendly. We are not trying to drive people away. We are trying to draw people. VD would benefit immensely if the word got out that they were so easy to use and people friendly. This is not rocket scientist work. Competition is very tough, but if you are the best you can be and PEOPLE friendly, you do not need to advertise. Word of mouth sells the product.
Kind Regards

I would like to see instead of me manually entering each time for a batch how about a global setting that lets you launch auctions within the same batch 1 or 2 or 3 or even 5 minutes apart, rather than schuduling 705, 710 etc. . That way the same bidders will have a chance to win multiple items without snipping.

I would like to see VENDIO have the automatic pay FIXED for BIN items.
I have begged.
When you use it, you have to go to Ebay to revise the auction.
Then if it doesn't sell, you have to relist with Ebay...therefore, paying Vendio for what? Just the picture? Yet, they get a selling fee.

i ALSO WOULD LIKE VENDIO TO REMOVE THE CHECKOUT LINK FROM THE WBN EMAILS.
ALSO I WANT VENDIO TO REMOVE THE TRACK ITEMS BY CLICKING THE LINK FROM THE ITEM SHIPPED EMAIL.
PLEASE LET US DECIDE WHETHER WE WANT TO SEND OUR CUSTOMERS A LINK OR NOT.

Couldn't agree more greatlakes. Many complaints about the Vendio checkout. Had one buyer email today, who was highly aggitated with the Vendio checkout. Said it resembled an application for a home loan.
Until Vendio makes some much needed changes, I am suspending using their WBN. From a customer relations standpoint, rather do it "manually" on eBay.
Like you, all I need is a WBN!

I just have a question- what is the point of a WBN if there is no checkout? I love the checkout for multiple items, which is what I usually sell. With just a WBN, what do you get that ebay or paypal doesn't already provide for free??
I want the customer's message from the checkout to show up on the invoice so that when I am packaging, if there are special directions I need to follow they are right there on the invoice in black and white for me to see.

The Vendio fees refund process is ridiculously painstaking. I just end up over paying because I refuse to spend an entire day just trying to get a refund for my non paying bidder auctions.
Whats the use anyway... Vendio rarely listens to what we say anyway.

jefftal1,
I guess I am stupid, because I can't figure out why if paypal has a great checkout for multiple items, can't you just use paypal's WBN and have them go to the site? I buy multiples all the time from several sellers, go straight to paypal and they are all combined there. Oh, but I just realized they are not paying with paypal...gotcha now. Duh!! Hello!

Exactly, jeffal1. All can be in the WBN. If paying by PayPal, PayPal address for payment or click on the auction logo. If paying by mail, seller's USPS address.
Really not rocket science. Don't need a checkout form, like Vendio's, that looks like an IRS 1040.
99.9% of my PayPal buyers completely bypass the Vendio checkout system anyway. They know it's a joke.

auntx11 i tell you why paypal is not always ok , if you buy from me 5 auctions this week and wait to pay and then you buy 5 more auctions next week paypal will only pick next week auctions !!! if this was not the case you are correct as even if the cliant dont pay with paypal i can post all the info in the paypal email , the Vendio combine is good if we chould only combind and send a regular email .... vendio have for sure there own reason by going this way i wish i knew the real one behind it.

It would also be nice to see a total at the bottom of the watch auctions page like andale does.

On the watch auctions page it would be nice to see the high bidders name so you can tell if a bidder is bidding on multiple auctions. I used andale counters in the past and their page was great. It had the high bidders name along with the total at the bottom.
Also a shipping calculator!

Speaking of totals, I would really love to see a total at the bottom of the hits column on the active auctions page!
I would also like to be able to keep invoices for one buyer separate on the checkout link, unless I combine them. If I do not combine them, they should not auto combine. Had a customer couldn't checkout because of this.
(She had bid on one item in error, so I did not combine, while I waited for the time tho elapse to file for FVCF. Click the link, and it combined automatically.)
Merry Christmas!

I would like it if we could tell instantly if there are bids on items. It would be great if once there was a bid, that total would be in bold figures. Sometimes it doesn't jump out at you when you have a bid and it would be nice to have this feature.

Add me to the NO CHECKOUT on the WBN.
I am keeping another service just so I can import auctions and use their after sale management because I hate checkout sooooo much!
Also, I wish closed items would go into a "sold" and "unsold" page to make it easier for relists.

Hi everybody!
Thank you all for your suggestions, we appreciate your feedback. I will forward this on to our product department, but wanted to point out:
setsnsingles, you should be able to do what you want using the 'recur' function - this basically allows you to set a listing to recur (launch a new listing) every day, week, etc. for months in advance.
liveinjeans, we do plan to support instant pay. I just don't know when this will be implemented.
pjbell, we will be making improvements to the inventory system in the comint months. I will be sure to pass your request along.
lindajean, if you use the Post-Sale link in Sales Manager, you will see that unsold items are organized in their own folder and can easily be relisted from there.
Thanks again, and happy holidays!

Had to go dig up my list from last Christmas.
1. Remove the Vendio logo from the invoice, as I am tired of cutting and pasting to remove it myself.
2. Search function in stores needs to support 3 letter words.
3. I would like to change my user name to my store name.
4. Ability to block deadbeats.
5. For items not to show up as sold in my store when the credit card fails.
More but I don't want to be too greedy.

Thank you Sonya!
Being new, I just went to closed and since I don't use the email templates (hate checkout) then I assumed that post-sale would be for items sold only.

I'd like for the confirmation and tracking numbers (which are entered in post sale management) to carry through to the note to notify the buyer that their item has been shipped. Right now, I have to open each individual sale, copy/paste the tracking number, then click "send".
The whole idea of an auction listing service is to streamline listing and post sale. Right?

When an item is relisted, do a COPY of the original (and its counter) so the original stays intact and can be archived. Currently all trace of the original item and its ID disappears from the system.
Add a cross-notation in both of the items ("relisted as <new item number>" or "relist of <old item number>"
Also, add some permanent notation to a listing for each email that was sent. Even better would be a date/time. I can't always remember who I've send reminders to.
Finally, add an option to send myself a copy of ALL EMAIL sent to my buyers through Vendio, not just a few of them like the WBN.
And one more... keep up the good work!

Ditto to reports, ditto to WBN option without VD checkout, also like to see automatic " I have received your payment notice generated when PP payment received - but not ALWAYS when step 3 is checked (I manually check step 3 for checks and money orders and send shipping notification instead of payment received notice). I really like being able to batch upload image feature you just added - maybe the upload isn't faster but I hated having to click items for upload one by one!

They need to improve the inventory area of Vendio as well. I have tons of the same items and the inventory should be a little easier to use as well as easier to sync with SMP.....
