Hi Sonya and other helpful folk. I just noticed this, and I don't think it used to happen. When I look at one of my closed eBay auctions, it appears just fine -- but then within seconds, Vendio slaps the yellow checkout band across the top of the description. It blanks out maybe the first 10 lines of text. Why does it DO that? Thanks, and happy holidays!

Hi Marshall,
You have the setting turned on to display the preferred checkout panel on listings that closed. That is what that yellow banner is. You can turn it off by going to My Account > Post Sale Mgt. Options and deselecting this option, under Vendio Checkout:
Display the yellow Preferred Checkout panel after my eBay auctions close.

No, no, Sonya, you misunderstand. I know I have my preferences set to display Checkout. What never happened before was that the yellow checkout band now blots out the heading and the top 8 to 10 lines of my description! I can't see any good reason for doing that, and I imagine that it's a glitch. It also means that anyone going to one of my completed auctions can't really read it. Please see if you can get this fixed -- or if I am actually doing something wrong, then please let me know.

Hi Marshall,
I checked some of your listings and it did not block anything. Do you have any examples that you can provide me with to check, that have the checkout banner blocking out some of your description?
Ninerfanzz -- if you have any auction ID numbers you can provide where this is happening, please do so and we will take a look.

It is kind of a hit and miss thing. It does it on some auctions and some its normal. Anyhow I disabled the whole checkout thing anyway. No one ever uses it.
