Hi,

I want to utilize my on template for my listings and incorporate any macros for description and images.

Is this possible. If so please indicate how to do this.

Thanks

It is not possible

I had wanted to do the same thing. However, Vendio does not utilize macros at all. I love Vendio for everything else, but it takes WAY too long to do each add with a custom template without macros, so I am forced to go elsewhere soon.

Although "3rd party templates" (that means yours) are not supported by Vendio, you can use either the imbedded template or the blank template and copy and paste all your html done in your personal html editor (including your image html if using the blank template and html for the other things you would prefer to use a macro for). You can save the html in your profile setting or in your own html editor offline, then just change the few things with each listing either before you paste it in or make the changes in your profile before launch. You have to do it auction by auction one by one. It takes alot of extra time and it's not very efficient, but if it is important enough to you it can work.

If you want to do that, suggest you never schedule an unspecified or immediate launch. Either upload without scheduling or schedule with a long delay time so you have time to go into the Vendio pending auction previews/edit screen online and make sure all your uploaded html changes look okay. that way you have time to tweak it before the auction flies the coop to ebay. Also, be really relly sure your image and changes appear in the Vendio previews because if it doesn't it won't appear online at ebay and you will have to go to ebay to fix everything if it launches before you get it fixed on Vendio.

Macros so far are a no-go on Vendio. See Vendio thread http://www.vendio.com/mesg/read.html?num=15&thread=82643

Good luck!
