Vendio Support:
I had at least several if not a whole lot of auctions not get tracked in Active or Post Sale in the past 2 or 3 weeks.
If I use the Import Listings tool, I remember there was something that happens that is not favorable, but I have forgotten what it is.
Can you remind me why it was suggested that I not use import listings regularly, and it was suggested to use track other listings when needing to bring in an untracked auction.
Import is meant mainly for new users who sign up, and would like to get their active eBay auctions into their Vendio accounts so they can set them up with post sale, and relist them at a later date if they need to. If you regularly use Second Chance listings, import is there for you to track in your second chance listings prior to closure so that you can complete post sale with that customer. If you are listing from Vendio and an item does not go into active after you list it, if you use Track Other Listings to bring it in you will be able to track it in active, and use post sale on it when it closes.
Thank you for your reply, although my question was not answered.
If you will re-read the initial post, I was asking why it is not recommended to do a full import of listings instead of just a single track other listings and specify a particular auction.
A couple weeks ago, I had around 1500 listings, and I was not able to go through and check to make sure everything was being tracked. (Although it should have been) If I knew a particular item was not being tracked, I would import it.
I was considering importing all of my listings, so it would bring in anything not being tracked.
I remember there is some problem that occurs when I do the full import, and was wondering if you can remind me what problems can arise by doing that.

Thank you for the information. That sounds like what I was trying to remember.
If I remember even more clearly, in Post Sale (Overview) the unarchived items do not necessarily have the check marks checked for things like #3 paid, even if it has been paid.
Has the status of the item showing incorrect in overview been corrected, after coming out of archive?
