Hi. I have just reviewed my postsale preferences and updated the info available when people arrive at my checkout. There is no preview screen for this information on the postsale preferences screen like for other items there. Can you remind me how to access the first page of my checkout so I can see what it will look like to the users before the auctions close and the customers start using it with the new changes? In future software upgrades, perhaps a preview screen for that info could also be included. Thanks!
If you click on 'active' from Sales Manager, select any auction and click on Set WBN, then select the auction from the list and click Edit WBN, at the bottom of that page is a preview button. Click on that, then copy and paste the URL at the bottom of your WBN message into a new browser window to see exactly what the customer sees. If you updated your Post Sale Management Preferences after the listing launched, keep in mind that previewing the WBN like that will show the previous info that you had in your WBN message. But that is the way for you to preview what your customer is getting.
Thank you for your suggestion, I will log it for Product Development on your behalf.

Hi. Thanks for the information, but it doesn't help if I am previewing the old checkout--I already know what that looked like. I need to see the new checkout.
I did edit the postsale preferences after several auctions were launched and several auctions are in pending because I was under the impression that a week from now when the WBN goes out it will be printed with whatever my postsale preferences are set at then. Could you please double check that the WBNs on all these auctions will now have the wrong WBN and checkout instructions after the auctions close?
Somehow that doesn't seem right. I think I remember that the info that goes out and appears in the checkout is the info that is current at the time of auction close. If not, how do I change all my auctions, active and pending, so that the current preferences will go out if the auction ends. The prior wbns and chekout data are no longer at all appropriate for my new tos. Thanks.

Hi. I know it has only been one day since my last post and it is a weekend, but if I have to do something major to my auctions I really need to get on it before they close on Monday.
I have checked out the WBNs for my active listings (active--> set WBN--> Edit WBN) and it is in fact the new information with all the changes hat shows up in the html boxes there. Will not the Checkout first page information presented to the customer work the same? And how do I preview it?
Unfortunately there is no general WBN preview, you would have to preview it when the auction is active. If your current auctions all contain the new information then there isn't anything else you need to do. If you want to view it the way the customer sees it, follow my instructions up to where you are in the Edit WBN screen. At the bottom of that screen is a Preview button. Click on that, you will see the WBN message with a URL at the bottom of it. Copy and paste that URL in a new browser window to see the checkout. If you have any trouble with this, please let me know.
Regards,
Sonya

Hi. Thanks bunches--worked like a charm. Yes, the new info is there also, and yes it needed minor editing!
Thanks again.
