I have been listing postcards this week. They almost all go in the same venue, eBay and in the same category. To get from the listing category page to the actual auction page takes 5 to 6 steps. I was sitting here typing and daydreaming about how much time I could save if there was a "Same Venue, Same Category" button that would show up on the page that tells you your auction is scheduled. Doesn't seem like it would be that big a deal to direct the browser back to the actual listing page - and what a wonderful thing it would be!!!!!

Jane-
This is a great idea. Thank you for taking the time to write us with your suggestion. Many of the improvements to our systems are based on customer feedback.

Don't hold your breath Jane..I asked for something like this LONG ago!
I found a way around the multi-step listing hassle by creating a "dummy" listing in "pending" auctions. I copy the dummy, modify and then schedule launch all from "Pending". The only time I have to wait is for the category change. I actually have several dummies set up to accomodate the most common postcard categories etc and I copy the appropriate one when I list.
I have no idea why the "create listing" has to have so many steps, especially since 99.9% of the listings are eBay!
