As a newcomer to Vendio we're still learning the nuances. CAn someone help with combining autions.
In regards to setting the options for combining auctions, can someone explain the exact timing of events when setting the days.
Does 1 day mean the system will combine all winnings for a given customer 24 hours from the first time a winning shows up?
I'm assuming that a new WBN is automatically sent out once the combining takes place.
And I'm assuming that once a combining takes place it no longer combines after that point and starts again, which could mean you have multiple combined orders for a given customer?
Lastly, any suggestions on how to let customers know how long to wait for the final WBN before posting their payment.
If you are using auto combine and you set the eligibility to 1 day, only multiple items from a customer in one day will be auto combined. Anything more than that, you would need to manually combine it for the customer. We don't recommend you use 1 day.
If you are doing the combining, you can choose to send the WBN out right away after you do the combine. There is no setting to make combined orders have a WBN go out automatically as it is a manual step.
Once an order is combined you cannot add to it. You would need to uncombine it first.
Regarding your last question, it is really up to you, and what you are able to handle the easiest. If you have the auto combine set to more days, then it creates less work for you if you have a winner of multiple items. You would then just need to watch for WBN response and payment.
