I would like to use Recurring Auctions to set some of my auctions automatically but I think I am going to be running in to a problem with having paypal selected as a payment method in my preferences if I do.
Some of my auctions are listed as "mature/adult auctions" and paypal does not allow payments for mature items to be paid via their service.
Since I sell alot of other items that are not considered mature I have set my global preferences to accept paypal so when I launch an item from my inventory I have to launch it to a specific date, then go into pending auctions and cancel it, and then edit the auction and deleselect the PAYPAL option.
there's got to be a quicker, better way.
So there really are two questions.
1-how do I set recurring auctions on all my auctions that are listed in the mature/adult section on ebay
2-how can I launch auctions from my inventory without going thru all the steps as mentioned above.
You can set recurring listings for items that go into the mature audiences category, but you must make sure there is absolutely no mention of PayPal in the description or default text, and that you deselect PayPal before those items are going to launch. The same applies to inventory. PayPal is a global setting so if you are listing in mature audiencees, you have to make sure it's unchecked before listing anything.

so basically it defeats the whole purpose of doing a recurring auction since I would always have to be on the computer to shut the paypal preference off before posting...hmmmm.
please see my other post concerning this topic...thanks
