Dear Vendio:
I am starting to dread using Vemdio because of the blinking ads. We come to your site to work, and the blinking is a distinct negative. Please, all others who feel the same, post here to make your opinion known. Thanks in advance, Vendio, for listening to your customers.

They hurt my eyes when they flash certain colors (especially white and gray, bright yellows and bright greens). It distracts from the background color of the page behind the print making it hard to both concentrate and read, especially in the left sidebar right beside where we scroll through and read my listings summary. Pressing escape does not always stop them--not the traveling monkey etc. across the top either. While the travelling monkey is annoying, flashing colors are known to trigger both migraines and seizures in people who are susceptible. They should not be allowed in the work areas.

In most cases, if you hit your Esc [escape] button a couple of times, the flashing ad stops. But yeah, it's annoyance to have to go hit the Esc button too LOL ...

As mentioned, especially since we pay for this service.. Understandable for anything that is free.
If Vendio 'must'have adverts, please do not be so conspicious with them....
And, again, as mentioned and a very suitable word: "tacky"...

I am so glad someone brough this up. A sophisticated site Vendio looks cheap with these advertisments. If I had it my way they would go away altogether. Besides, does anyone even use these wholesalers?

It's really discouraging to see that our comments are having no effect whatsoever.

I've contacted customer support about this, pointing out that I'm posting fewer auctions because of the blinking ads...

Obviously, Vendio had rather have advertisers' money than sellers.
I asked months ago about the same issue.
Don't expect it to change.
Paying to see Paris Hilton, monkeys, and so forth, is just not my idea of a business.
Maybe in Hollywood.
