I had a customer place an order for 4 items, completed the checkout and paid via PayPal. He contacted me before I shipped and had changed his mind. I have refunded him his money and now wish to cancel his order to get it out of the Post Sale area and put the items back into inventory. How can I do that because the checkout option isn't available?
In the event that your buyer does not complete a transaction for a fixed-price Store item, you may request a refund Store line item fee. To request a refund, please use the below URL, and be sure to select Stores from the menu.
Please note that you must be logged in to access this form.
To add the item back to your Store inventory, go to the corresponding Inventory item in Sales Manager, and increment the inventory quantity manually. Scroll down, and increment the quantity available in the Store. Save, and the item will reappear in your Store inventory.

Look at what you wrote before Chris I don't want to "ARCHIVE" it. That means according to Webster: A place or collection containing records, documents, or other materials of historical interest. Often used in the plural: old land deeds in the municipal archives. I want to "delete" it which means 1: remove or make invisible; 2: wipe out magnetically recorded information [syn: erase] [ant: record] It says antonym is "record" I need to do this so I don't have thr "Taxman after me wanting an explanation O K?

Why don't you go into Post Sale and at the bottom put a message in the notes section that the order was canceled by mutual agreement and refund was issued. Then archive it.
As far as the tax man goes, they never want you to delete anything. Auditors want a trail to follow.
The Archive feature will allow you to archive your closed auctions, rather than simply delete them. Archiving an item will remove it from Closed, but will still allow you to access and download pertinent data into and Excel spreadsheet for reporting purposes. Archive serves essentially the same purpose as Delete if you do not use the archived data.
There is no delete tool for archived data at this time.
