I've been working on auctions for hours and have many more to launch and I've been getting a series of problems. Here is a list of just a few of the problems I have encountered this afternoon:
** Erroring out on pending listings for apparently no reason (saying these auctions "did not launch" when I had put them in pending; not to launch)
** Problems navigating from one screen to the next -- previous screens will not load or display
** Pictures not providing the 'click to enlarge' feature ... pictures not displaying at all in the preview (just the dreaded red 'x')
** "Full Preview" not loading -- just a white screen
** After a launch into pending, clicking to return to Sales Manager and getting the "create Listing" page.
** Listing coming up with an error that it was listed in two categories when it was NOT (turns out the same category was in there twice)
** S-L-O-W!!! In fact, as I have been typing this, the page has not even finished reloading!

It's NOT my computer because here are the particulars on my machine/internet connection and what I've done to correct this problem:

** I have a brand new computer running XP with IE 6.02. I have a cable modem. Note that all other websites are running smoothly. I have cleared the cache, the history and the cookies ... nothing helps. IS THERE A PROBLEM AT VENDIO? ARE YOUR SERVERS BACKED UP? BOGGED DOWN? JAMMED? OR OTHERWISE? Please let us know. This is getting very frustrating! THANKS!

Hello,

That is strange, as I havent seen any other reports of such an issue come in thus far either here in the MC or in todays email queue.

If all else fails, restart the machine itself and try again. If this persists, please let us know. I can send you some directions on how to trace the real source of the slowdown.

Thanks for the reply but the re-boot was the first thing I did! Obviously it didn't help.
Note that just to get into this screen to reply to your message took me two 'stop' 'refresh' and even that didn't work so I clicked the "go" button by the address bar. Ultimately it took about 5 minutes to load this single page that I'm typing on right now. Also, just before that I clicked on the 'Full Preview' button on the auction building screen and what popped up with the "create a listing" page. Yikes. THis is taking me about 6 hours to build auctions that should have taken me 3 hours to build.

Can you help at all?

Hello,

Here is the URL to download this tool (WinMtr):

Be sure to save the WinMtr.exe file to you desktop. Once this is downloaded, open the application and type www.vendio.com in the host field. Let the trace run for about 1 minute, then stop and email or post us a copy/paste of the results. This will help us determine if and where any packet loss is occuring.

Me too. It's all in Sales Manager interface. I just finished a listing and went to preview it - the page is still trying to load.

Christopher - sorry I did not respond last night but I finally just packed it in after 8 hours of struggling with your site. Today I am building more auctions and things appear to be working fine! Nevertheless I will download the utility you provided the link for and go through those steps and post a status.

It appears I wasn't the only person having problems yesterday. Thanks for your help!
