I have never had the box checked, it is not checked it never will be checked. This has caused SO MANY PROBLEMS. I just hd an auction end that was stated not to be in stock. BUT, the Auto Pmt Rec'd states I will ship it shortly.
I AM FED UP WITH THIS!!! PLEASE HELP!!

Hello,

Are you sure it's coming from Vendio? You don't have the auto payment received notice checked off. Please send us a copy of that payment notice so we can see where it's coming from.

Yes, I am sure it is coming frm vendio, where else would it come from. I know the box is not checked that is why I am writing in. I get this same response every time. When I send a copy of the notice in, NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!

Hello,

When you are marking off that you received a payment, are you doing it from Post Sale or the fulfillment checklist? Also, did you just recently uncheck this box? The Payment Received notices do not go out automatically unless that feature is checked off, or if when marking an item as paid in post sale, you checked the 'send payment received email to buyer'.

We mark it off manually when we receive a physical payment. It only happens when a paypal pyment is made. As soon as the buyer pays with paypal, this notice goes out. Yes, it does go out automatically and my box is not checked and has not been checked for months. EVERY TIME IT DOES THIS I GO IN TO MAKE SURE IT IS NOT CHECKED AND IT IS NOT. IT ONLY HAPPENS WITH PAYPAL PAYMENTS

Hello,

We have tested this on our system and the notice did not go out on our PayPal payment. The notice that does go out is the 'notification of an instant payment received', and it comes from PayPal. Do you have an actual copy of this notice that you say came from us? Can you obtain one from the customer?

Yes it does go out at random ONLY when a paypal payment is made. I am not confusing it with the paypal notice. I am talking about when a person makes a paypal payment box 3 on the vendio checkout turns blue, indicating that the payment received message has been sent.

Box 3 indicates that you have received payment for this item; it does not mean that the payment received notice was sent. Our apologies for any confusion.

There is no specific step in post sale for sending this notice, it is either setup to go out automatically in your preferences and simply will do so, or it must be manually triggered from the post sale tools.

When someone pays you via PayPal, Vendio can simply recognize that and mark the item as paid. This is not tied into the payment received notification, unless you either set it up in preferences to be sent automatically (which has been confirmed that is not how your account is set currently) or by manually triggering it when you mark an item as paid and click to send this notice per Sonya's post above.

What has lead you to believe that your buyers have been sent a payment received notification recently? Has someone responded to a payment received notification recently, where you can see that this was the vendio notice?

Our apologies for all of the questions, this is thus far an isolated case that we have been unable to replicate and are eager to help you find a resolution to ASAP.
