Could someone reading this please share the best step by step process you have invented to use as a workaround for vendio not supporting this ebay feature, and how it works with the vendio checkout? What has to be done at ebay after launch and how does that affect your postsale vendio process and checkout? Has anyone been able to make it work reasonably well with their vendio listings? Thanks!

We take out the Money Order Option when listing the item.

I do not think there is a need for checkout or WBN to be sent. If you have reason to send it, then keep it active for the item.

Edit the item directly on eBay.

Change to require immediate PayPal Payment.

Possibly put a note in description it requires instant payment.

We have the IPN set, so the PayPal Payment shown up in Post Sale.

It works fine.

Is this what you were asking?

Hi gousainc. Yes, that was what I was asking--thanks so much!

So, how do you work it for your vendio checkout if someone then bids and takes it off the instant pay option after it it's been edited at ebay? I don't think I have any payment choices set at ebay--only at vendio. If we leave all the payment choices and checkout/WBN setup the same, does it just convert to a regular vendio auction if they bid and win it without doing the instant pay?

When we put instant pay, we do it on fixed priced items. It is instant pay, or no sale. My previous example was for a Fixed Price Item.

That is the way it would work. Vendio would ignore the instant pay option having been set.

Setting the instant pay, only affects someone's ability to end your auction with a Buy-It-Now. This restriction is only on, and only affects eBay.
