I have been relisting from "pending" for some time and suddenly I get the sinking feeling that I am not really relisting when I do it this way but in fact "copying".

Here is what I have been doing:
I find the day of "unsolds" from the Post-Sale list and then check all of them and set relaunch for some time in the future. I then go to "pending" and cancel the listings and then edit and reschedule. I find that editing is easier from "pending" than from the "relaunch" screen (let's me do other things and then get back to it as I can). Am I really relisting when I do things this way or do relists all have to be done from the "relaunch" screen?

Hello,

The items are still recognized by eBay as true relists when done from pending. As long as they came to the pending section as a result of your resubmitting the original closed items, you should still get your proper relist credit.
