Hi, moderators: I decided to try the Vendio Gallery today. I opted for the manual insertion, which did work for me.

BUT, VENDIO, I have a 15-inch screen, and looking at my auctions tonight, the lines are too wide for the screen, and I have to scroll back and forth to read them. See my current item, #2394519689, as an example.

YUK. If this doesn't work itself out very soon, I'm outta here.

Is there any chance that I should use a different style for my gallery? But Marquee would stretch it out, too, and I hate the slot machine one.

Hello,

The style is fine, it is just the template you have chosen to manually insert the HTML for the gallery into runs images along the side. With the images in the side of the text area and your gallery HTML in the text area itself, it forces the template way out to the side.

The template you have selected to use with this tool is going to always run into this issue of being too wide for monitor settings below 1152 pixels.

I have made two test items in your pending section for your review, using two other templates that do not extend out to the sides.

When inserting your own HTML into your listings, just be sure to use the eBay preview button at the bottom of the page before listing, so you can see exactly how the manually inserting code works with the template selected.

Regards,
Christopher

Also, we are looking into making some of the Gallery styles variable-width, so that they can compress or stretch-out as needed to fit within HTML table cells. Currently, the Gallery styles are all fixed-width.

Please let us know if there is any additional information we can provide -- thanks --

Thanks, Chris and Chris! I owe you an apology. I have deleted the manual insertion (because I want to keep using the style with pictures down the left side, description text on the right) and opted for the marquee style, which does fit just fine--just not in the description itself.

For now, I have it at the bottom. I may switch to the top. I like the Marquee style a lot!

So, thanks for being patient with me.
