I'm new to Sales Manager and I want to have some standard HTML stuff automatically placed in all my auctions. I thought the Custom Listing Text would do it so I placed it in there but it doen't chow up in my auctions. Is there a way I can do that?

I just went into EBay to look at one of my auctions and found that the Sales Manager program added "\" all throughout my HTML text. I removed those and then it worked.
I also went back and changed it in the Custom Listing Text. But I have no idea why that happened since the text I copied into it doesn't contain those. So unless the program goes in and adds those again it should work. still would like to know why it added those to my text.

Hi, dennysdenn --
To add some standard policy or common information in all your auctions using HTML, you have two options, both of which are available by clicking on "Custom Listing Text" under the "My Account" tab:
1) You can use the "Default Listing Text", which appends the HTML to the item descriptions for all your listings.
2) You can use a "Custom Section", which can set your information apart from the rest of your item description with a proper label, such as "Information for International Bidders" or "Free Store Credit Offer". Note that these Custom Sections only appear if you have checked the "Show in Listings" box next to each section, and only listings that use a non-asterisked (fully-customizable) template.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions -- thanks --
