Currently I use SM Pro to do all my launching, it's great and has all the features I need, not to mention how speedy it is because it's not online. But since it doesn't keep track of inventory I have to use the online inventory feature.

In order for the uploaded launches to get into the online inventory, I have to schedule my launches with a future time and then online, I have to cancel them on the pending page, click into each one separately, put a checkmark in the Save to Inventory box, click on the save button, delete them from the pending page and then go to inventory and relaunch. AND, since the cost isn't carried over to the online inventory, I have to re-enter it online after I already entered it in SM Pro.

Is there an easier way?

And if not, can I make a couple of suggestions that might be fairly easy to implement?

1. When I launch from SM Pro, it carries the SKU number over to the launch and again to the online inventory when I save it there, is there any way to carry the cost as well??

2. Is there any way to make a button at the top of the pending page that will do all the saving to inventory in one function? Kind of like the Mark Shipped button in Post Sale? I could put a checkmark next to the launches I want to save to inventory and click the button, much easier than clicking into every launch individually. Or better yet, put the Save to Inventory check box in SM Pro and have it save to the on-line inventory automatically.

3. Is there any way you could carry the SKU number on everything? Right now I see it when I launch, but on the Post Sale pages it is not shown, it is only shown if you do an invoice and then only if you have told the system you want it shown. I would like to see it on all the Post Sale pages, especially on the Purchase Summary page.

Thanks.

Hello,

There is actually another way to get items from Pro into your online inventory. In order to do this, first create an inventory item in Sales Manager Pro. As you list your auctions from the inventory item, simply create a separate item to send to your Store. It is not necessary to enter a quantity available for Store items - you can upload an item with zero available in the Store and use the resulting inventory item as an auction item when you are ready to list.

The drawback with this is you will have to go to inventory and fill out all the auction information for these items.

Thank you for your suggestions, I will forward them to Product Development.

Regards,

Sonya

Thanks for the reply but unfortunately, filling out the Ebay info online is much slower than doing it the way I am.

It's too bad your tech people aren't working on a solution to your poor inventory system. Everything else about Vendio is pretty good, just tough to run a business without keeping track of inventory and you guys make it almost impossible.

Hello,

We will be releasing a new version of Pro soon, so be on the lookout for that -- I'm not sure what the details are in terms of features but you may want to see if it works faster for you than the current one.

Until an update sometime last year, they had an option to put all SMP items in the online inventory when uploaded. For some reason, they removed it.
It has caused me to waste a lot of time and I wish they would put it back.
