I am getting the following message when I try to submit one auction:
'Error 5112: Attribute Set Id does not match category.
Attribute Set Id "1387" does not match category you have entered for this request.
Note: this error may be related to the Item Specifics content you entered. Please review content in 'other' fields in the Item Specifics section for validity and number of characters."
No matter what I do I can't get it corrected.
Anybody know why I'm getting this error?

Just tried re-submitting it again and still getting same error. Since everything looks right I still don't see why I am getting the error.
Try reselecting the category for your listing -- click on the Edit Category button, choose the category again, and hit Continue to go back to the edit screen. Then, reselect your item specifics and try to list the item.
If that fails, click on the blue Copy button that is in the upper right hand corner to copy the auction. Repeat the same process as above, and see if it launches then.

Have been working with 1 item for the past hour trying to list and keep getting the ERROR 5112 message.
Unless VD can stay up with the daily changes on Ebay, Why am I trying to use a service that is sub-standard?????
I thought Vd was up to all the technoligical standards????
I pay money for a service that does not let me to list when I want to??????
Ebay listing service is looking much better than it did before. Why should I pay VD to list my items, plus VD receives a portion of the after sales and Ebay offers all the same service at a lower fee. I really think that the future is not in what VD has to offer, but what can VD do for me as a seller????
The error you are receiving means eBay has either added item specifics to the category you are listing in, or they have changed the item specifics for the category you are listing in. We update our system every time eBay changes categories or attributes.
To resolve this error, please locate the Category section on the create listing page (underneath templates, above Features) and click on the Edit Category button. In some cases, after you do this, you will need to reselect your category starting with the Top Category -- but in most cases, hitting the Continue button will be sufficient. After selecting your category, you will be returned to the create listing page. Scroll down to the category selection area, where you should see some item specifics options. Fill them out, then Save your listing and proceed with launch.
