Is there any way to look at what a buyer will be seeing in Vendio checkout?
On item 4126590145, my buyer sent me an email complaining that the sales tax amount came out to $46.30, when it should have been $4.60 (more or less). I don't like it when I get emails from customers that are ALL IN CAPS AND THEY'RE ANGRY!
As near as I can tell, I have specified 6% sales tax for NJ residents.
How can I view what's going on, and, unless he celebrated his auction victory too heartily and is mistaken about the tax, fix it.
If you go to any item in post sale that has a winner, click on the post sale keys -- you'll see a 'go to buyer checkout' link on the next page. Click on that to see what the buyer sees. It works best when you do it on an item that hasn't had steps 2 or 3 completed yet.
To fix the tax, deselect step 2. Click on the Edit screen for that item and you'll see the tax drop down there -- you can change it to 0.00 since he's not in New Jersey. Save your changes and you'll have the new total for your customer.
