My business is eBay consignment, that is, a Trading Assistant with a brick and mortar storefront.
So, on the front end, it's a consignment shop, in the middle it's eBay/Vendio, on the tail end it's consignment again.
There is some good software for consignment developed and sold by Resale World (Trading Assistant 2004). I asked them, and was told that Vendio would not even return calls to see about partnering. Since Vendio doesn't have, and hasn't announced any intention of having, the capability to manage my consignor information, my consignor payments (final value less eBay FV fee and my commissions), etc., why doesn't it extend itself in this direction.
I am, on balance, pleased with the Vendio service I get. However, I would rather not be put in a position where I have to decide to go with consignment software or Vendio. I want both; since I'm willing to pay for both, I feel entitled to get them.
