Hi: In order to avoid an Ebay stalker, I need to establish a new user name on Ebay for selling. I need advice, starting from the very beginning (new user name), please. Do I need a new e-mail address too? (I'm assuming the stalker could find my items by searching for e-mail address, but I may be wrong.)
Thanks in advance. ~Adele

You can change your eBay user ID within your eBay account (should be able to do it through your My Account tab). eBay doesn't allow searches by email address anymore, so you probably wouldn't need to change that. When you change your eBay ID, you can send us an email at [email protected] with your new eBay ID so we can make the change for you, without you having to post your new eBay ID in the forums.

Sonya: I"m sorry I was so vague in my original message here! What I need to do is have a second Ebay selling ID for certain categories of items I want to sell so the stalker doesn't follow me around.
For that second, additional Ebay user name, do I need a new e-mail address or can I use the one I'm using now?
Are you certain there's no chance the stalker could find me via my e-mail address if I get an additional user name? This is rather scary.

P.S. Now I'm realizing I'd need a new, second Vendio account, too, to continue listing through you folks, or could I use my same e-mail address for that, too?
