I just relisted an item that I had originally listed during the ebay .01 subtitle sale.
The original listing had a subtitle.
Before I relisted, I edited the listing information and deleted the subtitle. But when the item was listed, it had the original subtitle - and now I have to pay an additional .50 in Ebay fees!!
Ebay live help says I cannot remove the subtitle once it is in the listing!
Why did the Vendio relist keep the subtitle??
How can I relist my other items from the promotion, and have them recognized as re-lists without being forced to have a .50 subtitle?????

Is there a particular one in your closed list that you would just like to remove the subtitle on that we could use to test with?
As long as once you make your change, you click the save button at the bottom of the page, before you return the resubmit the item, the change should carry over into the relist.
Go ahead and make all of the changes that you want to for this item, then just click the save button at the bottom of the page.
This will save the item to your pending section with all of your changes in place. At this point, if your ready to relist this item, let me know so I can track it while it is submitted and view the results.
My apologies for the confusion. I checked into this further, and apparently the API system eBay gives us access to listing your auctions for you does not support the removal of the subtitle at this time.
"When you relist an item, you can add or change a subtitle, but you cannot remove it."
Unfortunately the only way to relist these items without the subtitle at all would be to do so directly from the eBay website, until they provide an option for this through their API back door program (which we and other third party listing services take advantage of.)
You should request a refund from eBay for the fees on the items already submitted, due to lack of support on their end for this option. Until eBay offers the ability to remove the subtitle through their API, we may have to remove the option to even remove the subtitle on our end, to avoid any future confusion.
Because of this missing feature on their API, there is no way to simply relist and remove the features and have them post that way. One way or another, you will need to request a refund after the items are posted, either from us for image hosting fees or from eBay for the subtitle fee's.
We would welcome the apportunity to provide this feature from our end if they made it available to us and the rest of the third party listing services using their API program.

I cancelled that auction (under advice from ebay when a vendor causes an error in the listing. I found this on vendio thread 86138 "If you are using third party software, such as Vendio, and you notice an
error in your listing, I would suggest that you end the auction
immediately. "
Then I relisted on Ebay (no subtitle!) and imported the auction into Vendio.
BUT...
1. I'm using a Vendio counter but in Sales Manager it says "N/A" under hits as though it doesn't recognize the counter as its own.
2. It's too early to tell whether my Vendio Account is going to be charged for image hosting fees. How will I be charge for this auction by Vendio??

Our postings crossed.
I see you answered my questions. This is tedious but I will follow through.
As a suggestion, you should immediately disable the "subtitle removal" and fix your Ebay Preview to accurately reflect what the listing fees will be.
As another suggestion, please add a check box next to the Subtitle (rather than just the text box). It is confusing to have to look carefully for text and then guess whether Vendio thinks there is a subtitle or not. Especially when the Preview fees make youthink there is not...

I'll add these to a suggestions and recommendations list. Thanks for taking the time to go through this.
