I am on my 2 week free trial and trying to setup a custom template but I am having problems with shipping amounts.
I am located in Canada so the drop down boxes for shipping options do not help me. I always list the shipping costs in my auction and I usually have 4 different shipping amounts listed for 4 different regions.
What I would like to do is have a different template for each of the different shipping weights (ie; 1 pound, 2 pounds, 3 pounds etc). I then just have to select the proper template using SM pro and it will put in the proper shipping amount. I have tried numerous ways to do this but it seems that if I use either Global Preferences or Customs Listing Text, that the same thing shows up in all the listings.
Is there a way to have different custom text in different templates.
BTW, I really like what I see so far with this program, but this shipping thing is frustrating.
The custom templates do not deal with shipping and handling -- it is for description purposes. As a worarkound, I would recommend you create inventory items as you can assign shipping and handling to each inventory item. Then you can apply the same template to all four, and all four will be in your inventory with different shipping options, then you can launch from inventory.
