Hello.

I have an auction that says "Error" when I want to perform UPI and get a FVF credit from eBay.

I clicked on "Error" and it says:
---------------------------------
"The Update Dispute failed to be submitted at the auction site.

The explanation given for the error was:
The action is not currently applicable for this dispute. Please check your action id and try again.

Please try resending the Update Dispute for this listing."
---------------------------------

Does this mean I have not waited enough days to file the FVF? Or does this mean there is something wrong with the Vendio-API-eBay? Or something else?

The item in question is 5106818136.

Is there any way I can issue FVF for this item? The auction winner will not respond to emails and has not paid for the auction won.

Thanks in advance,

Hello,

You can close the dispute after the buyer has responded at least once, or if
the buyer does not respond within 7 days. Please try again and if it fails once more, let us know so we can look into this further.

Regards,

Sonya

I have also been receiving these errors. I have tried filing for FVF several times and continue to get errors.

Vendio - please investigate.

Thanks.

I want to start an UPI and I tried with this item (3828492268).

I now have this "Error" message:
"The Start dispute failed to be submitted at the auction site.

The explanation given for the error was:
The auction for the item supplied has to be ended at least 7 days ago.

Please try resending the Start dispute for this listing."

If the auction ended on July 22nd, then why do I get the 7 day message? It's been over 10 days since the auction ended. Any help or suggestions?

I would like to know (get a list) of current UPI integration problems so I can at least go to eBay and push the UPI from "My eBay" if needed. If there are no known problems with this API, then I need to wait until these problems are fixed. Correct? I am just trying to manage as best as I can.

Hello,

How long was this auction supposed to be originally? Also, what reason did you pick when you filed for the UPI?

Sonya

This auction (3828492268) was started at:
Jul-17-04 17:38:11 PDT
and ended at:
Jul-22-04 10:50:41 PDT

Funny: the UPI has started (8/02/04) and I didn't do it. Thanks Vendio!

I wish I knew what fixed it.

Another item to investigate: 3826333864
I cannot update this auction after I started the UPI on it.

This is the error message I got:
"The Update Dispute failed to be submitted at the auction site.

The explanation given for the error was:
The action is not currently applicable for this dispute. Please check your action id and try again.

Please try resending the Update Dispute for this listing. "

I don't know what "action id" are. Is there a list of action id's somewhere?

Hello,

I believe its related to the reason you picked when you started the UPI. What was your reason for the UPI for that item?

The "Reason" that was selected was the default:
"The buyer has not paid for the item."

The "Explanation" was the default as well:
"The buyer has not responded."

Thanks in advance, SonyaCS. It's great to have someone look into this, because I can't get anywhere by myself.

Hello,

Thank you for providing me with the reason. I've checked into this -- the FVF can only be filed 7 days after the dispute was started. The dispute for item 3826333864 was started on July 27, which is why you keep getting error upon trying to file the FVF.

If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Regards,

Sonya

Ok.

I know the UPI process started last month, but there are some auctions from before July that have errors on them. These all took place before the UPI thing replaced the NPBA process.

Here are the eBay auctions that I cannot do anything with, cannot get FVF credit, are listed as "error" and I'm just lost on what to do to get my money credited back to my account.

2251366405
3822191726
3822232412
3822545251
3822555293
3822664203
3822833094
3822886168
3822887097
3823019583
3823021039
3823742320
4019182324
5102865789
6103440116

Yes, they are older than 7 days ago.
Yes, I started the NPBA for them but I never got further than that.
The reasons were all the defaults.

Hello,

Did you try doing the Update for these items? Please clarify what you mean when you say you can't do anything with them. Does that mean you tried to update and got denied? You might need to contact eBay regarding these items.

Regards,

Sonya
