...to my pending auction. When I look at the folder on it's own the pictures are there but when I go to my pending auction and select the file the photos do not appear. I have tried to upload them again from the auction page but it tells me that the upload failed and that I cannot override. What am I doing wrong?

Hi rosarugosas,

There was an issue earlier today with attaching images to a pending list. These have been largely resolved, but there are certain small cases that may still cause this to happen:

- if you are using a Mac and are using Safari or IE5, the Attach button does not work properly
- if you are running privacy protection software like McAfee Privacy Service, this can interfere with the Create Listing page

If any of these cases applies to you, please let us know. If not, tell us if any of the workarounds posted here work: http://www.vendio.com/siteupdate.html?popid=337

Regards,

Chuck

It's the Mcafee privacy Service. I deleted it temporarily and the images worked fine. Hopefully this will be fixed so we won't have to keep doing this deletion.

It is not neccessary to delete the whole privacy service in Mcafee. Just click on options and then the block ads tab. Click on the "allow ads on this computer". This solves the image problem without having to delete the rest of the privacy service. Hope it works for you. Steve

I have McAfee Privacy Service. I cannot add any images to a listing. When I disabled the service, all was okay but that is sort of defeating the purpose of the privacy service! I hope you guys are working on a plan to fixing this bug so I can go back to creating listings without this extra and unneccessary step of disabling something else. It shouldn't have to be this way!

I still cannot upload photos from my folders to my auction page. I have McAfee Privacy Services and I do not wish to disable the feature in order to upload my photos. I see nothing on the Announcement board as to whether or not this issue has been resolved and no one answered "superstarvalues" post as to whether or not you folks are even going to work on resolving it. What gives?

Hi there-

I don't have the updates on this features or possible bug with McAfee. Any fix would take some time, so I'd suggest Chuck's work around.

Best Regards,

DarinCS
