Hi, there. I'm finding the new Image Hosting rather frustrating! I like to have ALL my pictures alphabetized so I can find them and delete them easily, when buyer is satisfied with his purchase.
Now I find that I can get them in order of expiration, or in order of listing date, but NOT alphabetized. Is there something I'm missing? This is going to be awfully hard, keeping my images up to date without old clutter in them if I can't find them easily among 300 or so images.
If this is NOT possible now, will it be in the future?

Hi there,
Now, any column heading in a folder view of images is clickable. If you wish to sort your images alphabetically, then just click the Filename column heading once to sort descending; click again to sort ascending. Your customized sort preferences will also be remembered the next time you return to the folder. Hope that helps.

Hi, Chuck. Thanks - but I discovered that, to have the ENTIRE list alphabetized, A to Z, I have to remove the columns for expiration date, date posted, etc. Otherwise, clicking on the filename column simply alphabetizes by those dates, then a new group by their dates, etc.
So. . . if we've elminated those columns, we'll have to add them back occasionally to see which pictures are expiring soon, right? Kinda clunky there; there must be a better way to "help" us when you're changing things, seems to me.
Perhaps you could pass this on to the person who makes all these changes without testing them on us?!

Hello,
I took a screenshot of your image hosting page showing all available data as well as the sort by filename listed. You just need to click on the word 'filename' to sort the list. If it comes up in Z-A order first, just click it again so it switches to A-Z.

Roadsmith - Have you tried the search feature? It's great! You can find the images by NAME now and don't have to browse images...doesn't have to be exact name either. For example, say I want to find an image of "fort lauderdale", even though I used alpha-numeric characters before so my newest images would be all together on top of the list, I can now find all 150 images I have in all the folders by doing a "lauderdale" search! Here's the first one that comes up and as you can see there are many characters before "lauderdale" in the title:35hrs42ftlauderdale.jpg

it worked for me and now I have them alphabetized. Is there anyway I can change the name of the file once it is in this list??

Thanks, Christopher. I had done that already in that user name's Vendio Images. But what I said earlier still stands--no complete alphabetization UNLESS I've removed some of the other column options.

Hello,
Roadsmith - Your image hosting page is currently showing all available data column's - what about the sorting of the images by filename is not completely alphabetical?
Are you referring to the sorting by Capitol letters first, then lower case afterward?
Image sort is case-sensitive, and follows the format: Numerical filenames first, followed by upper-case filenames, with lower-case filenames last in the list.
This should be the case even when you remove all available data from the image hosting view.
niel35 - you can change the name of your images during the upload process now, but not after it's already been uploaded.

Thank you, Christopher. I swear! (and I'm sure you think I'm nutso) that what is there now was not there before. What I saw before was alphabetical within a certain date of listing or a certain date of expiration, etc. Now it's exactly as I want it. Appreciate your help!
