Hi debshope,
Can you tell me if anything else has changed in your setup, including your camera settings? As I look through your account I see that you uploaded a number of images today that are much larger than what you've uploaded in the past.
For example, you uploaded an image today called compote that is 296 KB in size. This is much larger than other images you have uploaded on previous days; those are no larger than 60 KB. You can check your file sizes on Windows XP by opening your computer folder that contains the image, right-clicking on an image, then selecting properties.
Please let us know if this may be the issue. We are not seeing any slowdowns on our side.

Hi Chuck.. thanks for helping me. My image sizes are saying 561 X 421 pixels. I haven't changed any settings anywhere, other than disabling Active X .. but that was days ago. See what I mean... about my images taking long to upload? Escpecially if its saying they are this more MB then in past days. I have not adjusted anything on my camara.. or settings other than Active X. But that was also long before I started having this problem. Please work with me.. I need major help to upload quicker. Ok Chuck.. thanks for bringing to my attention the pics were uploading so large.. I broke out the instruction book on my camara.. and sure enough it was off VGA.. what ever that means. I deleted all the supersized pics and am starting over. I feel like a total idiot and so very sorry for wasting your time.
You guys have always been so helpful whenever I had a problem, and have worked hard me to correct it every single time. Thanks for being here for us.. wish I could say the same about ebays customer support. Problem solved. Thank you to Sonja... it's nice to know we can count on you for any glitches that arise... even if it IS OUR OWN DOINGS!! (begging forgiveness on bended knee)... you all are so sweet. Love, DEB

Hi debshope,
Thanks. I'm glad you've figured it out. I think our posts crossed paths since my second reply (this one) shows up after yours, but I'll leave the text here in case it can help someone else.
Regards,
Chuck

Please do check your computer's images file sizes as I suggested measured in bytes or KB (the 561 X 421 you mention is its pixel size by width and height and is not necessarily correlated to its file size).
What I'm trying to say is to check if the images you're trying to upload now are way bigger than images you've tried to upload in the past. The bigger file sizes would account for the longer times to upload.
The ActiveX should have no effect on upload. I've just tried uploading a 460 KB file which close to our 500 KB limit and it went fine.
