I relisted two items and both lost images in the process. I had to hand-edit both in Ebay to put them back and also get the preview that shows at the top of the listing.

The original items each had 2 images in them,
but had none when the listing went up on Ebay.

Is this still a known problem with Vendio?? I thought it had been resolved a couple of weeks ago.

What is the recipe to do a relist and avoid having the pictures lost???

thanks

Hi there,

Sorry for the troubles. When you originally listed the ad, did it have images or did you need to revise it in order to have the images? If you revised it to add images, the ad would've been relisted without images. Could you please give me some auctions numbers that you are having troubles with so that I can be of better assistance?

Thank you!

Bob

Hi,

The auctions are: 5126393596 and 7104166647
(there are also copies of both of them, unscheduled, in my Pending Auctions section)

Both original auctions had 2 images, in addition to the gallery image. Both had the gallery but not the other images when relisted. If you look at the pending copies, you'll see what they looked like.

The live auctions have already been manually fixed on Ebay.

thanks

Hi - I'm sorry, I don't have any information at this point. I will have to escalate this to engineering, as I don't know what would have caused your images to be elimiated. We will get back to you once we have more information.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Diana

Dear Moderator:

Having the same problem as above user...No images appearing after re-list. Only the gallery pic appears. No pics show up in the auctions. I tried listing the same auction to double check that pics were attached. Still the same results. No pics after launch.

Hello,

I was checking some of your latest listings. Were these all affected? If not, can you give me an item number where this problem occurred? For the ones that had this problem, did you edit them all to include the image?

Regards,

Sonya

I am in this trouble too. 6 scheduled listings from pending list, but after they launch to Ebay, 3 items have no images in the listing, only gallery view image works, BTW, I attached 5 images in ads by sales manager. Now I have no choice but to end the 3 items early in order fix the problem.

Hello,

We are working on finding the cause of this bug but have some questions for you. Can you give us as much information about this as you can? We would like to know is this happening for all relists, or only for those that you edit prior to relisting? Please let us know step by step what you do when relisting the item that launches without its images.

Also if you can let us know if you have any other software running on your computer (such as pop up blockers, any browser toolbars, etc), that would be great.

Catwalk2closet -- since you listed a group of items and half of them had this problem, is there anything different about those auctions?

Thank you for your patience.

Regards,

Sonya

Dear Sonya,
Here are the 3 listing without images #5327444909, #5327444957,#5327444908.

These are 3 listing with images #5327444789, #5327444906, #5327445001

When I creat ads, I usually use COPY facility for various sizes in the same style and save in inventory at same time, so #5327444909 should be attached the same image as well as another 3 items list today with images.

I create these ads a few days before & did not make any edition before launch to Ebay. I just previewed them to check description error.

I just checked some of my ads in pending list and found that the edition & preview page cannot go through to show images, not only for the pic I attached, but also for the gallery show case. Then I went to Ebay page,it's same! No matter it's a listing of my own or other vendio users, like item#5327122954. I don't think it's my system problem since I have no trouble to see all other sellers pic who do not use Vendio.

I use XP with google tool bar and nortion security.

Awaiting for your reply.

Sorry Sonya, I forgot to tell you one thing. It's not me found the image lost of 3 items, my friend found it first, on his computer, and then he informed me.

Thanks

Hi: I have found the only way to get around the (re-list problem with no pics) is to cut and paste from your closed auctions into a new Vendio auction listing and reattach the pics then relaunch as a NEW auction. I also noticed if I re-list and go back to edit the pics on a "no show pics" auction the Http: pic address is just a generic vendio address. Does not give the specific pic address. Its just dumping your old auction pics into a blank file.

Hi Catwalk2closet,

Do you mind if we schedule the 3 auctions that had the image problem for a later date (we will of course unschedule it so it doesn't launch), so we can investigate this further?

Wiking187 - I just sent you an email asking you some questions similar to what I posted in this thread, please check if you haven't seen it yet.

Sonya

Dear Sonya:

The only edit I have been making to a re-list auction is the quantity field (0 to 1) than hitting the "Quick Preview" to re-set it. Other than that, nothing else. I do not have any special programs running.

Hi Wiking187,

Thanks for the update. I've notified the engineers working on this problem of your response (and all other responses) in this thread. I will keep you updated as soon as I know more information.

Thank you for your patience.

Has there been any update on this issue?
If there is some special procedure that I need to follow or watch for when I do upcoming re-lists, I'd like to be prepared for it.

thanks

Hello,

The fix for this has been released. You should be able to relist with your images intact -- let us know if you have any trouble with it.

Regards,

Sonya
