I thought a new post might get some attention.

When I attempt to cancel image hosting, it takes me to a page to 'answer some questions'. I really don't care to answer any questions so I did not. When I clicked the 'confirm change' button, it took me back to the questions page. Then I randomly chose something and still back to the questions. Did I not give the correct answer?

It seems in order to cancel my image hosting I must answer questions???? And apparently answer them correctly.

I just want to cancel the image hosting - not play games here.

Hello nnt,

When you cancel a payment plan, you are required to complete a brief survey to let us know why you're cancelling. This helps us to determine the main reasons that people cancel, so that we can continue to improve our services. The survey is generally only 2 or 3 questions, and shouldn't take very long to fill out. We would appreciate it if you would take a brief moment to complete the survey as you cancel your service.

Thanks!

Diana

I don't know how to dis able it either I have been billed twice for storing images I thought where deleted and then this month I got another bill and I haven't listed anything in a good three months! They credited me this month but said if I don't mannual disable the image host I will be charge in the future but I can't get it to open so i can diable it! I'm not happy with the way things are done when your not using like ya say if I using it I don't mind paying but if not I don't want to pay every month for the service I DON"T USE
if you figure it out please post how you did it so I can
I'm so feed up I could scream I feel your pain.

Call your credit card company and dispute the bill. You don't have to answer any questions according to American Express. I am very happy with my service but can understand why others are not.

Oh, I know I can call my credit card company.

I don't want to have to do that.

I am happy with Vendio - I like Vendio - that isn't the point.

Since they have instituted the 'pay even if you don't use it' program, or cancel - I have no choice.

I just want to suspend an account - I don't take surveys. I was in a rush and just wanted to get this one simple little chore done that should have taken 30 secondsa at the most and it has taken the better part of a day.

Hello Nnt,

Your image hosting service is cancelled. I have deleted all of your duplicate posts on this matter.

Dear nnt,

We are happy to switch the account to inactive for you, however, note that this will require that you write to us every time you want your image hosting service switched. It is probably more time consuming for you to have to do this and leaves you with less control over the state of your account. We are not able to switch off the survey for one account.

Thanks,

Diana

<<<<<We are happy to switch the account to inactive for you,>>>

Thank you for that.

<<<<< however, note that this will require that you write to us every time you want your image hosting service switched. >>>>.

I am not exactly sure why it would necessitate my writing you each time - but I don't suppose I have another choice, do I? So I will deal with that when the time comes.

<<<<<<<It is probably more time consuming for you to have to do this and leaves you with less control over the state of your account.>>>>>

What exactly does that mean? If I can't stop a service without completing a survey, I have NO control over my account. YOU had to cancel it.

<<<<< We are not able to switch off the survey for one account. >>>

If you really want feedback from your customers ----

might I suggest you make the survey optional for everyone - that would certainly be more friendly, it would acknowledge that a person has a right to answer your questions or not, and would truly allow me 'control over my account'.

I am so sorry it has reached the realm of the absurd just to inactivate an image hosting plan. Especially in light of the fact that this site works so well in other areas.

I am sorry that you feel the survey is cumbersome. I will pass along your feedback.

Thank you,

Diana

Thank you.

It isn't that it is cumbersome, exactly.

But a 'choose an option' survey seems quite useless to me. It would necessitate my choosing one of a field of answers that someone else deems appropriate. Would that really give you any valuable information?

Also, just how useful would information be gleaned from a survey that is forced upon someone. Especially, if someone is irritated at having to do the survey. Would that really give you any valuable information? Would you truly trust that information?

But thank you again for resolving the situation for me.

nnt
