I just received a question regarding my auction #2292106412 from an eBay through eBay "Ask Seller A Question" asking me as follows:

Q: Hello,I am writing to ask you why, if you are only selling within the USA (which is a shame as I love this item), you have written the approximate value in £s sterling? What's the point?

Is this another problem that Vendio is now having? The auction looks fine on my end, but what the heck is going on?

Hello,

I'm not sure I understand what the buyer is asking as I don't see any approximate values written in anything other than US dollars. I do see a mention of pounds. If you want to offer it at another currency you will need to work around it as you can't list any items in a currency other than US dollars.

I am not sure this covers what you are asking so please let me know if you need additional help.

Regards,

Sonya

Sonya, you wrote: "I do see a mention of pounds. If you want to offer it at another currency you will need to work around it as you can't list any items in a currency other than US dollars.:

I DO NOT wish to offer it in any other currency other than US $ and I only sell within the USA. Why would this even show up? I haven't changed any of my settings in eBay or Vendio. And when I view the auctions, I don't see anything other than USA $ in my listings. Can you please take a look at some of my other auctions to see if the same problem is occurring? What could be going on here?

Hi Cta,

I'm sorry, that was my mistake. What I was referring to was in your custom listing text and it's for weight, not currency. It's been a long morning.

Your other items look fine, I'm not sure what that buyer actually saw but please let us know if you get more complaints from him or other potential bidders.

Regards,

Sonya

Hello Cta,

The buyer was seeing your auction on the eBay United Kingdom site:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2292106412

US listings are available on the UK site, with eBay adding the approximate price in pounds for buyers' convenience.

Regards,

-Radu
