When the new software went into effect, I knew there was going to be some change with $$. "No, No" I was told, our fees will not change. Well, maybe the existing "fees" didn't change, but that's sort of begging the question, because this whole new "image hosting" charge was levied and my bill rose dramatically the first month, then dropped the next month.I had a whole lot of byte space left, so I downgraded the image hosting plan, and suddenly, my bill is HUGE again. And if anyone can make sense of any of the explanations that i am given, they're smarter than me. And I was on the dean's List all through college. I am in touch with ebay, and will just start doing all of my business through them. It CAN"T cost more than I'm paying now. I swear, this thing with the plans and the image hosting plans, you try to make sense out it. It's hopeless and I will soon be gone from Vendio. So, my question is, am I the only one that is completely and 100% mad as hell about this issue?

Hello troyjanna,
Let me try to explain what happened in your account.
On 11/14, you were charged for the 55 MB $9.95 image hosting plan (after being credited $19.95 for Sales Manager fees.)
On 11/25 you were upgraded to the 135 MB plan, which is $19.95 per month, so you were charged the difference between the $9.95 you already paid and the $19.95 plan ($10.00. )
At the end of your billing cycle, you were credited $19.95, and billed for the 135 MB plan for the month forward. As this plan is $10.00 more than the $9.95 plan you were on in your prior billing cycle, your bill this past cycle is higher by that amount PLUS the subscription fee for the Sales Manager Premium Variable plan that you signed up for. If you stay on the $19.95 image hosting plan, your Sales Manager fees should offset this entirely if you continue selling the same volume. Your bill should return to normal next month. Keep in mind that when you sign up for a subscription plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for that cycle and then a full amount at the end of the cycle for the month forward.
I also wanted to point out that eBay's image hosting is the same price for the minimum storage they require, and this is NOT offset by any other usage fees.
I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

I, too, have a long time customer of Vendio, but have recently changed to Ebay turbo listing for free. The first image is free and additional images are only .15 cents. It seems Vendio has made a good thing so complicated (and expensive) that I decided to do something different. Sorry Vendio, but I'm outta here!!

I've been away from Vendio for two
years. It is now so completely
confusing I can't use it. And my
Mac G3 freezes if I even attempt to
complete a listing.
I don't understand the pricing plans,
the various "Sales Managers", nothing.
What a nightmare.
Anyone have a clue why the computer
freezes?

Hello,
It is most likely due to your browser. Please check out this page for a list of supported browsers. Unfortunately, IE for the Mac isn't being updated by Microsoft anymore so you may want to download one of the other Mac-supported browsers and see how it works for you.
Regards,
Sonya

I've got an iMac G5 as well as an older IBM Pentium III Aptiva. I use the latest Firefox 1.0 browser, and it's very good! I haven't come across any one browser that's perfect, but Firefox is the best so far, after that I'd say Netscape.
You can download Firefox for free at http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ or www.getfirefox.com

There are lots of us unhappy with the rate increase Vendio has levied against us.
My typical monthly bill with Vendio over the past 24 months has been consistently around $25 and never, repeat never, over $30. I'm a gold powerseller. The 1st month with thier new pricing it jumped to nearly $50 and then last month was over $40. And I'm still using about the same 25mb to 30mb of space for my images, and always less than the 55mb allowed by the plan.
I have started to shop around for another service and will probably switch all 3 of my Vendio accounts to ebay's service or equivalent.

Since it seems this service is crashing on a regular basis, not to mention the pic hosting fees are ridiculous, I'm looking for another auction service. It's bad enough when a handful of listings are trashed because of system failure. I'm real glad I haven't bothered to write store inventory items and opened up the store yet.
