i have preset preferences at ebay [under my ebay, buyer requirements]. but when i launch auctions, the restriction to prevent bidders without a paypal account doesn't carry into the auction listing and consequently i've had to revise all my auctions to put it back. i just had an online chat with derek at ebay support and he said that when they tested directly thru the ebay system, the preference is there so the problem must be at vendio. please advise?

Hi Suze,
What I would recommend is you use Custom Listing Text and put some text in that says buyers cannot bid if they don't have a PayPal account. This way it will display in your listings.
If you have any other concerns about this, please provide me with a listing where your restriction displays.

hi sonya, thanks for your reply but i need to know clearly if vendio is or is not supporting this preset feature offered thru ebay...re your suggestion, i have PAYPAL ONLY featured in as many places as possible in every auction but since people don't read, it doesn't help.. only that restriction and banner under the bid box that requires they have a paypal account to bid will work.. as of now, i'm doing double work on all listings..first launching them, then getting into the revise feature for every launch to put in the shipping calculator.. another missing support...and the paypal only bidder block. that means i can't schedule auctions anymore, i have to be here to launch and then revise. i don't want to provide auction #s in this forum but if you have access to my account via this name, you should be able to see my listings.
No, we do not offer this feature at this time. I will go ahead and log a suggestion for it on your behalf.
We do offer a shipping calculator -- you can turn it on in My Account > Global Preferences. If you scroll down to Item Listing Options you will see the shipping calculator option there. You have to have the option enabled to display shipping and handling in your listings, as well as offering calculated shipping, in order for it to work.

hi again sonya, thanks for your second reply. i didn't know about the calculator.. i thought that feature was for the other plan features i don't have.. will check all those settings.
re the biggest problem, the block issue.. i don't understand why, if vendio isn't supporting this feature, the other 2 blocks are there and don't have to be revised in.. here is a copy of the block in question copied off the revise/edit page;
Buyer requirements: Block buyers who: Have a feedback score of -1 or lower
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days
Don't have a PayPal account
the first 2 blocks show up on every auction. it's only the last one, for paypal, that i have to revise in.. please explain?
