When I click preview in SMP, I get a blank window. When I click Enlarge Preview, I get a large blank screen.
Of my 7 PCs with SMP loaded, only one has this problem, and I don't know what is different between them. All PCs are running XP (4 Pro, 3 Home). All are recent model Dells with plenty of memory (1 GB on the affected machine). I tried uninstalling SMP and reinstalling it -- no help.
I would really like to be able to use this PC (it is at my home, so I can work at night ). Any help is appreciated.

Hi Claude,
Are you viewing the same item on all computers? Is there anything different about this particular computer? Also, do you have a lot of HTML in your listing? If there is any extra information you can provide regarding your listings, please let us know.
That's the head-scratching part. The PCs are very similar late model Dells, the HTML is essentially identical (same template, same kinds of images, etc.). Virus scan technology is different (the affected PC uses McAfee, the others use Norton), but it's not clear to me that it should make any difference.
I do not think that your virus program would be doing this -- it's probably trying to load a lot of information into your preview, thus giving you a blank screen in the meantime. Do you have a lot of HTML in this listing? Or a lot of text?
I don't know what a "lot" of HTML or text is. It's the same amount of HTML and text that are in all of my auctions. These are the same auctions that I create on the other PCs with no problem.
Could it be the VB dll that you sometimes recommend? Maybe I didn't download it to this PC. Do you have a link to it?
I'm doing my "previews" right now by uploading to Vendio and looking at it... not optimal
Please go to the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the critical updates and Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.
The latest VB dll is installed by default by Windows XP, so you do not need to install it again.
If the preview is still not working properly, please uninstall and install SM Pro again.
Please let us know if you are still having problems with the preview.
