Hi Vendio! Could you please request some new templates. We haven't had anything new for a long time. The last new ones were introduced LAST Spring. How about something not so "cutesy". More like what Andale offers. They have the best book template, I wish we had one similiar! Thanks! Oh, yes I am aware we can download images if we are on the more expensive plans. But, those plans aren't advantagous for all of us & we should have some nice templates also.

Hi Beanangel,

Besides the book template, what else would you like to see? I will send this thread to our development team.

Regards,

Sonya

You can upload images for use in the Template Workshop no matter what plan you're on. If we were to create new templates, all we'd do is use the Template Workshop and then publish the results. You can get exactly what you want by directly using the Workshop.

Hi Sonia & Christian!

I would really like to see some templates with more of an "Andale look". They use photos and blends that look very classy rather than cartoon like graphics (antiques in particular). No offense, really! I wish I could download some myself, but I can't make the type of template I would like on my payment plan, Christian. "The Sales Manager Plan that you are currently subscribed to does not provide access to uploading your own images for templates. If you would like to upload and use your own background patterns or images for accent graphics in templates, please make sure you are subscribed to one of our Power or Premium plans." This limits me to the graphics currently available to me (which haven't been added to in a VERY long while). Another idea, I thought would be great would be to have a "template share" area. Where users could share templates they have made. Not sure if this would work for you, but it would be great if it could. Thanks for listening & thanks for offering to forward ideas Sonia! Darcy

Hi,
I think many of us have asked over and over for something other than the cartoon style templates that you offer. They are fine for some things, but for antiques, books and collectibles, jewelry, and many other categories, they just don't do the job. Hope that some new ones show up soon.

I am looking for a St. Patrick's Day template. Maybe we have one but can't find it. I agree, we need better templates. I only use a few of them.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the feedback. Unfortunately, Darcy, you do have to be on a premium sales manager plan in order to the customizable template system. I've passed this post along to the product developers. They will be interested in hearing this feedback.

One thing you could think about Darcy is to subscribe to the premium plan for one month, make your templates, and then they will stay on with your Pay as you go plan, when you downgrade.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!

Bob

You know, I never knew that some accounts couldn't upload graphics to the Template Workshop. I apologise for the misinformation.

I don't run this place by myself... yet, so lemme meet up with the team and see if we can squeeze in some more templates.

The requests so far are classier, photo-based templates (nothing says 'classy' like Andale), and St. Patrick's Day templates. Gotcha!

You do have to be on a premium sales manager plan in order to the customizable template system.

Bob, I currently use the Sales Manager Merchandising Edition. Can I use the Customizable Template System with this plan? I'm not sure what is considered a "Premium Sales Manager Plan" in Vendio. Exactly which plans can customize the templates?

Thanks!

Hello,

All service plans give you access to the Custom Templates.

Any plan except Pay As You Go can upload images into the Custom Images section of the Template Workshop.

I hope this helps clear things up.

Sonya

Christian

Would you please look at my Cowboy Puppies template? I have lots of these backgrounds and I would be willing to share, but they don't fit. I can lose the puppy on the left but I can't fix the text.

Can you also work on giving us the option of three backgrounds?

Thanks
Debbie

Good morning! I have spent the last few days uploading new templates, and am VERY happy with the results! I can't wait to use them. I do have a few questions for the design team about some glitches I am experiencing. I wonder if you could post some tips, suggestions & specifics about size of graphics that should be used, and how to best make them fit to the templates. I found that I couldn't make a strip of my own graphics across the top (using background image)without having graphics running down the right side (and center) because the template page is more than the 8 1/2" x 11" I have used to store the jpg's. I tried to store the jpg in a wider format, but that didn't work. I was able to get rid of the left side by widening the "description box" but not the right side. Also, I have a friend who would like some of my templates. Is there a way to share with her? Thanks for all your help guys!!!! Darcy

Debbie,
I saved another version of your template called "Cowboy Puppies 2". I maxed out the margins so the text doesn't overlap with your border.

Darcy,
It's hard to recommend image sizes because the Template Workshop has so many variables that you can adjust. Your best bet is to try a few different sizes and try adjusting margins and borders of the different areas of the template, as I just did for Debbie.

Hi again! I had also asked if there is any way to share my templates with a friend? Thanks! Darcy

Hello Darcy,

There is no current way to copy templates from one account to another without making it an engineering project (which would involve a fee), but I will pass along your request. Maybe this is something we can do in the future.

Thanks!

Diana
