I would say that only 25% of my customers use the Vendio Checkout, although all are mailed the Vendio WBN. Instead I get a lot of requests for Ebay invoices. And, by the way, all shipping costs are noted on each aution page.
I think some of the WBNs are captured in the SPAM file. I have customers verify this.
I think some folks just don't want to do a checkout.
How do YOU get your customers to use Vendio checkout? Would appreciate any advice. Because, most of the time, when they do, they buy something from my Vendio store too.
You can try changing your default subject line to see if that keeps the WBNs out of customer SPAM files. Some customers will have high SPAM filters so emails they don't recognize may always default there.

Ditto. I have found that most of my customers do not use the checkout for security reasons and I can't blame them. They want to type in the url of ebay or Paypal themself's to be sure it is safe.
If Vendio would fix the yellow preference box that shows on your closed auctions I am sure you could get a few more checkouts.
The yellow checkout banner issue will be fixed soon.
Beth -- perhaps you could try something like "congratulations, you are the high bidder on my auction!" or variations of it that include the item number. Good luck!
