A bidder just contacted me and told me she wasn't allowed to bid because she is in North Caroline and I don't accept NC. ????
I checked some of my other auctions and they don't have United States either. what happened???

Hello neil35,
We have noticed this problem with some relists, and we believe it is due to a glitch in eBay's API. We are in the process of implementing a workaround for the problem, and this should be released shortly. You may be able to revise your listings and add US, but you will most likely find that US is already checked off when you revise your listings.
Thanks,
Diana

thanks Diana
Really strange. I went into my auctions to revise them but US was already checked off.
I have lost bidders because of this. EBay should reimburse me for listing expense.

Yes, please make an announcement when this glitch is fixed. I have a lot of items waiting to be relisted and don't want to do it until the work around is implemented.

Hello,
If when you revised your items it has US checked off but it is not displaying, please try to contact eBay and ask if they can insert US into your listings. I am not sure on the ETA for the workaround mentioned by Diana, but as soon as I know more I will let you know.

Sonya

OK, thanks Sonya - will try to contact EBay.
I hope this doesn't apply to all future listings.

I contacted EBay but word from them.
I tried to relist another auction and the same thing happened.
So went into each current auction and revised and clicked on United States twice and then revised and it worked. But have to be careful in the future with relists.

Hi Lori - Sorry you are having problems too. Was wondering why no bids. PITA for sure.
I wonder if you could go into your default page and do it that way. Not sure, tho.
good luck

Sales were down and I had no idea why. A couple of people wrote to ask if I ship within the US, and while I thought that was wierd, I didn't know it was because it said I didn't. This is a vendio problem, and i think we should see some refunding going on.

Is this only happening on items that we have inserted shipping into? I notice it's not on all of my items..just most of them. I dont' have time to go back to all of them. I'm going to miss the .05 fees today, because I don't have time to go and check and then fix them all.

You are right, Mag. I would have relisted too especially because of the 5 cent day, but too much trouble to do so. Wish they would get it straightened out.

Not only does it not say the United States, but it blocks bidders if they try to put in a bid.

Same thing is happening here on the relists. It's been going on for weeks. (I brought this same subject up a few weeks ago, and nothing has been solved. Other people were having the same problem). Still does not show the US as a country I ship to, even though the US is checked off in my preferences.. With 200 auctions going, it's impossible for me to revise them.

Still happening here too (and it happened to me a couple of weeks ago as well)
I still don't know if it is Ebay or Vendio. Because when I go into revise the listings, the United States IS checked off. So Vendio DID send USA info.
It is very strange.
And it only happens on some listings, not all. I don't think it has anything to do with if you enter shipping charges or not because I have flat rate shipping so shipping charges are entered on ALL my listings. And not all my listings have the problem. Only some.

Hello,
If you scroll up toward the top of this post you will note our message where we state that we believe it's a glitch with the eBay API, but we are in the process of implementing a workaround for this problem. This workaround should be released sometime this week. Sorry for the delay in letting you know what is happening with this situation. When the workaround is available, we will post here so that you know everything is okay.

Thanks Sonya - glad to know you are on top of it. This has been going on too long. There has to be a solution. I don't even want to list new auctions at this point. thanks again.

I've lost wayyy too much money and yet, I can't list, and I'm still paying Vendio. I hope it's fixed soon..I'm working with another lister if not. If I'm going to have to go into 300 auctions and fix them, I might as well move on. I paid for those auctions to go up. It's up to you to make sure YOUR system works with eBay..and if not to do some refunding.

Thank you for your patience.

I'll be away when my relists hit. So, I can just relist my relists, and it will show to the US. I don't have to go in and make any changes? Someone want to post when they try? Thanks. Are we getting back payment for the ones we have been listing that didn't say US? eBay says nothing wrong on their end, so I'm out all those listing fees

I did not see any announcements for this problem and so re-listed 218 items on 5 cent listing day. I wasn't even aware there was a problem until I got two emails this morning asking if I shipped to the U.S.
I too am wondering about compensation. I launched these at 5 cents at a cost of about $11.00 but will have to re-list at 35 and 55 cents at a total cost of around $78.00. That's a lot of money to be out because of some "glitch".
