I'm rather new at trying to use the USPS calculator inserted by Vendio into my auctions.
Please help me to understand what happened here... auction is
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3780648429
During the auction the calculator was not even appearing. Much to my surprise the winner used the calculator because it appeared after the auction was OVER!
Calculator states 3.85 for either Priority OR Parcel post for coast to coast 5.5 lb package. Correct shipping is either 12.30 or 11.49. She has paid me the 3.85 which I will most likely have to honor so please help me to avoid this COSTLY error in the future!

Hello,
The calculator showing in your listing is the eBay shipping calculator. You cannot add this calculator in a listing created through Vendio during the Create Listing process -- did you add it afterward through the Revise Your Item form?
You have the shipping calculator options chosen correctly in your Vendio Global Preferencees but in order to make it appear on your listings in the Shipping and Handling section, you will need to choose a USPS calculated option for Vendio shipping and handling. You have chosen an option 0.00 see/use calculator in auction -- this won't display the calculator. You will need to choose a calculated option for future listings.
If you would like to keep adding in the eBay calculator it should be fine, provided you keep your options for eBay and Vendio checkouts exactly the same (this way, however someone pays you will yield the same amount for shipping).

Hi Sonya and good morning!
Actually, this was all done through my Vendio listing, I was trying it for the first time. No, I did not "revise" through ebay although I have done that in the past, it's too much trouble and wanted Vendio to add the calc. I put in the lbs and the size of the box to the side when creating the listing.
ok, so the big mistake was-- "you will need to choose a USPS calculated option for Vendio shipping and handling".
which box is that exactly? Do you mean the ones that say Priority, first class etc? What is the calculated option of which you speak? Can you post a picture of it?
I would love to get this right and use it in the future!
