I decided to put shipping charges into my auctions by using the Vendio USPS calculator. I would like to only use this option when I want to use USPS but not put any shipping data in if I'm using FedEx instead of USPS. I have checked off "Display Shipping & Handling" and "Custom Shipping Note" and "Include Shipping Calculator in listing whenever calculated shipping options are displayed" under my Global Preferences, but it will not allow me to not put in a total dollar amount or weight in the listing. It is giving me this warning:
Vendio Checkout requires at least one valid shipping option
I would like to have the option of using the calculator or shipping fees only if I choose to put in a total or a weight. But it will not allow me to list an auction if I haven't checked off one of the shipping options. Is this possible to have it in some and not have the shipping note show in other auctions? Can someone let me know if this can be done?
Unfortunately, you cannot use the shipping calculator unless you check off one of the USPS calculated options as a payment option. If you are looking for just a general shipping calculator, it might be better to get a free one online (you can probably find one on the USPS site) to insert in your default text.
