Effective in January, FedEx insurance rates were changed. Instead of being a minimum of $2.50 for added insurance up to $500, it is now (and has for several months) been a minimum of $1.20 for coverage up to $300 with .40/$100 beyond that.

Customers adding insurance via vendio checkout are being charged $2.50.
