Got a message from customer saying cannot checkout because the error message states "..not in database" but the ebay item number is valid and closed with a valid bidder. I tried searching for it on SM online but not listing found. Please advise
I was able to use Track Auction to get the item back into your account so your customer can now go through post sale. You can use this method in the future, if it happens again (however this is a rare occurance so you shouldn't have to do this too often).
I checked the items and they all started on May 9, which was the same day that eBay had experienced a temporary system outage. Due to the eBay outage, there was a delay on our end, submitting items to eBay since they could not reach the site. Delays like this can result in problems like what you are experiencing -- please use Track Auction to bring these items into your account.
