I had hoped to be able to create my own template in the workshop using the template I bought and paid for...that way I could save it here and use it with all my auctions. However, I swear I've read everything at this site (at least it feels this way) and can't create my own custom template with my own html. Am I really losing my mind or does it just seem that way? Please help. I've got ads to do!!
The template workshop does not allow for the uploading of third party templates. You have some options here -- you can create an inventory profile item and save your HTML for your template in the item description box, and then apply that profile to all new items you do. That way, you won't have to keep inserting the HTML in the description -- it will already be there for you. If this becomes too cumbersome, we may be able to possibly create a custom template for you (which may cost a small fee) using that HTML.
