Boy, guys, I love ya, but whatever extensive testing you did missed an awful lot of common activities; where's the list to sign up as a beta tester? I volunteered the last time there was a major change that caused major hiccups.
My newest -- I just launched a bunch of auctions and didn't realize that my "click to enlarge" option had been turned off, so my pictures are HUGE and I'm probably losing every dial up bidder out there.
When I'm just changing a bit of copy from a saved listing, I don't review each one. I've never had to. But imagine my chagrin when I found that settings in my global preferences (THAT I DIDN'T TOUCH) had changed.
Is there any way to reduce these pictures in launched auctions, or am I SOL?
Our apologies for the issue, engineering has been notified of this error and will work quickly to correct it.
For now, log into your Vendio account and visit the My Account page. From here, click on the Global Preferences link found within and visit the Item Listing Options section. Check the box to enable automatic resizing of your images and click to save the change.
Again, we apologize for this error and hope to have it correctly as quickly as possible.
The only way to change them now would be to enable this preference again, then go directly to image hosting and act like your going to attach these same images to a non-eBay listing so it will generate the HTML code for you. You would then need to take this code over to eBay and swap it out with the existing code for your images.
Either that or delete the image from your image hosting page and upload a new one that is resized to a size you could display fully in the ad.
