I have been following this for a while now and it has been consistently not working. When I input the tracking number in my post sales manager in an auction listing and click on the link to track and submit. It always shows nothing. It says in only in transit. Yet when I go the the USPS website and put the tracking in it shows as delivered when doing it thru the Vendio sit it shows no information, WHY is That? Are my customers getting the same non result from their tracking link sent via the post sales email?

I checked a few of my closed auctions that I have recieved feedback for, so I know they are delivered and the link for tracking seem's to be working for me. Might want to drop vendio a email about the problem. I seem to get faster response's from vendio when I email them over posting here.

The shipping tracking hasn't worked for me in months! So much so that I just don't use it anymore. I copy/paste my tracking # to usps.com and everytime I'm told that the package was delivered....when the Vendio tracking tells me it's still in transit.
So much for streaminglining the selling process, eh?
It seems to depend on the carrier selected. I-ship does appear to be having trouble updating the final status of the shipping information on USPS tracking numbers, where after the last scan before delivery i-ship shows no more information where the USPS site updates one last time to show that the item has been delivered. i-ship does appear to have shown the most recent scan prior to receiving the item in that case.
i-ship appears to be picking up the FedEx tracking numbers perfectly, documenting each step as well as confirming the final step when delivery has been made.
We do have another note in to i-ship.com to find out if there is a known problem with getting that final step when delivery has been made from the USPS system. We'll post back to this thread when more information is available.
The good news, if you can call it that, is that it does appear to be working in all cases minus showing that the item has been received when on USPS, so your buyers will be up to date along the way (assuming they know when they have received a package) - its the sellers that would need to doublecheck the status on USPS items past the final scan prior to customer receipt.
FYI: We did hear back from I-ship on this issue and they are working with USPS to resolve the issue.
Apparently USPS is not sending a final scan to show the item was delivered, rather simply updating the website to show this data. This doesnt go along with their own specs apparently and why I-ship is unable to update this last 'scan' showing final delivery.
