I posted two auctions today, one shows the sales tax, one did not. Why? Item 5979177556 does not show the sales tax.

Yes, as I stated, one shows I charge sales tax..and I can't find where the other does. This is from the golf cart Item number: 5203872048 ..where would I find this on the el camino Item 5979177556? You said it's there..where? I realize I put it in my description (and I did a control f and put in tax to show it any place else on the page. but it doesn't..just the description), but that's because it doesn't always show up where it's suppose to.

Looking at the El Camino item (we copied it in pending so we could take a look), you are not specifying ebay payment and shipping details -- meaning you turned off eBay checkout for this item. Was this a relist or a brand new item?

New item..they both were, and I put them both up the same. I don't remember clicking that off.
Now I'm lisiting items and while my "real" city is listed in both global and eBay, the city I used to use before my city was added, is showing up. My zip code is also in global and eBay and I have to put it in each time.

The tax did not show up on item #6401270367 when my customer went through the check-out. He had to figure it out himself and add it when he made a Paypal payment. So what's up with that?
Toyspast -- I checked your item and it looks like it got listed with No Sales Tax on it. Did you list this prior to setting up your tax preferences? If not, did you check the item prior to listing to make sure that it had your tax preferences applied?
Magneticattractions -- If your information in Vendio is correct you might want to check your preferences at eBay to make sure you set everything properly over there, as well. If you continue to have this problem please let us know.

Ok, I see that my item was a copy from an auction I did long before the tax change. So I just have to remember to add it to copies of all the auctions I do in the future. Now, my question is this: I have several hundred store items that were placed before the change. If they are bought, will the old way of doing tax show up to my customer? In other words, where they have to fill in the boxes to add the tax? If not, then you need to formulate a work-around in this situation. I absolutely do not have time to change every bloody one.
We can bulk-apply your tax settings in your preferences to your inventory and any pending listings in your account. Gosh Sonya would you like to apply my new shipping charges on my 8000 inventory items? I have done 1880-1909 but would love the help.
