Vendio Post-sale "unsold" items is my source for relisting items. When I relist items they disappear from the "post-sale" list. I relisted all of the FP items ending 5/19 to my store a couple of weeks ago - now they are BACK on my unsold list!!! I need this fixed ASAP.I need to be able to TRUST Vendio to accurately show me which items are available for relist! If there are some issues I would like to hear about them before I relist a bunch of items that have already been relisted.
-------------------------------------
Have you triggered an import anytime recently by chance?
Items that qualify for relisting credit are removed from the closed section upon relist. Items that do not qualify for relisting credit will remain in the closed section even after you use it to list another (using the relist function.)
If however the item is removed one way or another, and an import is triggered, the system will grab all items within the past 30 days and bring them back into the system.
When you go to relist these items that you have already relisted, you will either be blocked saying the item has already been relisted, or it will list the availability as 'copy' rather than 'relist.'

Yes that's it then. I tried to get all of those GTC store items that Vendio shows ended but are active in ebay to show active (didn't work) - I won't do that again! I only list through Vendio so shouldn't have to import anything.

Update - THat isn't it - those items are all relisted on ebay and yet when I experimented and tried to relist through Vendio I was NOT stopped or warned.
There are several hundred of these 5/19 FP items - this is a nightmare!!! PLEASE HELP!

Hello Neglus,
It doesn't give you a warning that stops you from listing -- there is a column that will state 'copy' if it is not a relist-eligible item. If it says Relist then it's a relist that you can get an insertion fee credit for (if it sells under eBay criteria) and if it's a relist that is older than 30 days it says Relist Non-refundable. It's not in red text or anything, I just want to be sure you know this.
The message that blocks you can happen if something hasn't yet gone live and I believe it happens in other instances as well but it's not as common as the above description of relist/relist non-refundable/copy.
Do you know if that recent batch contained items from an import you did?

Sonja - there is no warning or anything in red or even an indication that these are not eligible for relisting credit!! They were relists in the first place so they should not be eligible for credit even if they weren't already relisted to my store. Those items were gone until a week ago - and if what Chris said were true ( about importing) then the 900 unsold items from 5/24 that I have relisted to my store should also appear and they don't (KNOCK ON WOOD)...this is a MESS!!
I would have no items to really "import" because 100% of my listings are done through Vendio. When I tried to import I was just trying to get Vendio to recognize my store GTC active store items that were stuck in "unsold" - to my knowledge, no items really imported.
I list items, then relist and then move the unsolds to my store methodically - now I have a hunk of 5/19 items that have already been relisted to my store eppearing among the unsold items. I am almost afraid to do anything for fear I will end up with duplicate listings in my store! (and my store with 5600 items is too large to reconcile item by item)
Did engineering do something to my account when they got those 200 GTC store listings to move from my unsold items to ative that would have caused this? Did this also trigger the disappearance of my gallery selection? Am I the only one this is happening to?

Hi Neglis,
Whether or not an item is eligible for relist, you can always resubmit it off closed listings -- there is a column that will tell you whether its a copy or a relist. This is what I was referring to, I am sorry if that confused you.
I do not know at this time what happened with those GTC items and I am trying to find this out for you. Please hang tight with this -- I'm working on it -- I just don't have an answer yet, but I should soon.
I am not sure I'm grasping this 5/19 FP relist issue completely so let me run this by engineering and see what they say. I also logged a bug on the gallery issue so I'll update you on that as well.

Sonya just to clarify things - I use Post Sale->Unsold as my source for relisting items. Usually when I relist, the items are automatically removed from the "Unsold" list. That is why I basically only have (comparitively that is) a few items in my "post sale -unsold items" since I started doing things this way (since winter 2004). The 5/19 FP items were relisted to my store about a week later and they disappeared (as they should) from the list. Suddenly they reappeared!!
While I did import listings trying to fix that "GTC" problem, the items I relisted to my store from the ebay sale on 5/24 (about 800 items - I am still working on a few of them) did not reappear on the Post Sale-Unsold items list.
When I just work on a few items at a time I make sure I have the actual postcards in my hands before relisting so I don't duplicate items. I do this when I list on the ebay sale days. I don't bother to do this again when I am working with hundreds of items like moving the unsold "ebay sale" items that I just located the week before and rely solely on Vendio as my source for relisting items. It has been accurate before. Now I am nervous about this new "glitch" or whatever it is and would like to make certain it is rectified before ebay has another "sale". I hope this explains it better.
Thanks for your help.
PS - my sister "Pixiamom" says that she also is having disppearing gallery selections. I'll bet others are too but don't realize it yet or maybe don't care if they don't use galleries later on down the road (ie when listing to store). We usually list without galleries but always add one to ebay store listings.

Neglus: I had a similar problem. I had lauched a couple of ads via ebay and then ran import. All of a sudden I had old closed items (some of which had sold the second time around) listed in UNSOLD. I also had closed items that had previously been archived. It scared me to death. Like you, I depend on Vendio to know what is sold and what is not. When you are dealing with thousands of ads like me, I can't keep track. Anyway, wanted to let you know that the IMPORT function did not just import my live auctions, but closed and sold.
Good luck!

Yes, I did the same thing. Hit import to track two auctions and thanks to this thread discovered why I suddenly had triple the number of closed listing that thought I had!
Had to click each auction to see if had already relisted and then delete them before I could actually start relisting from the unsold page.
Luckily, I was dealing with only about 60 items.
Anyway, just wanted to conmiserate that this is what happened here too.
