Dear Vendio
You have been saying for a while that you would turn off mailstep. The SPAM increases on my mailstep address and the worst part is that I have pretty much all other SPAM under control. YOU ARE IT.
Can you PLEASE cancel my mailstep?
If not, why not. It cannot be difficult!
Thanks
John

Hi John,

We apologize for the inconvenience. It is going to be phased out very soon.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya!
You mentioned mailstep was going to be phased out... and I was just trying to figure out why I wasn't getting auto-notified in my post-sale process that customers had paid via PayPal! Maybe that's it! But if not via the @mailstep way, how do I set it up to get the notifications again?
Thanks!
Steve

Hi Steve,

We are now using eBay Notifications to register the closure of a Buy It Now or Fixed-Price item. We have also implemented PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notifications) which will register your PayPal payments -- this is the replacement for the Mailstep system. If you would like to change your eBay email address or eliminate the Mailstep address at PayPal, please do the following:

1. At eBay, simply update the email address. Then go to your Vendio preferences under My Account -> Auction Site Accounts and update your eBay ID entry (this will require a login at eBay.)

2. For PayPal IPN, please refer to this URL for more information and setup directions:

https://secure.vendio.com/my/acct/mailstep.html

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Regards,

Sonya

Hi Sonya
Well thanks, I guess.
But I have been hearing that for about a year.
How tough could it be to turn off the forwarding!
I have long since stopped using the mailstep address on the eBay and PayPal sites.
I would like you to please stop forwarding SPAM to me.
Really!
John
