My problem/question is about this item # 8314402512 This person was able to pay without paying for shipping. I believe that the problem is from the use of the SM Pro when you set up the shipping. It seems that if "its Tuesday it must be Belgium"(movie Reference) is the issue here. Every time it is listing day I really do not know what to choose as it works some times then it don't.

I want to know exactly how the form is to be set up so that when it goes on e-bay it works. Do i choose e-bay check out or do I chose not to use e-bay check out. It is quite tiresome to chase after these goofs that are trying to beat me out on shipping.

Since we will see a Democratic president before we see a re-vamp of the sales manager pro I want to know exactly how it is to be set up as I have tons of things to list and I am tired of adjusting this automatic system.

On the bid in question i will refund this sale and re-bill them. But why is it that 5 other bidders were billed as it should be and then this one got through.

Has the re-direct been changed, has the mail step been abandoned. As it seems that any of these changes come to me through osmosis.

Please let me know so that i can start the listing process soon.
thanks
roger

Hello,

I think they tried to pay you through eBay Checkout which you are not currently offering. You don't have Checkout Redirect enabled so they paid you somehow, most likely through ebay somewhere.

If you don't want to use eBay Checkout, we suggest you turn on Checkout Redirect. This can be done in MyAccount > Post Sale Management.

If you want to offer eBay Checkout so that you are covered either way, please go to My Account > Site Specifics, eBay and enable it as a default. You can edit this on a per item basis. In Pro, you can edit it by clicking the Payment Instructions and Details button on the eBay information tab.

We haven't changed Checkout Redirect but you do have it disabled. Mailstep is still here but it will be phased out shortly. Since we now have the PayPal IPN system in place there is no need for Mailstep.

Regards,

Sonya

Ok here we go again.

I have 10 or 12 items that i run all of the time, this is one of them that I have been running for years now. I have not changed a thing yet you are telling me that these things are turned off, was it Satan or the tooth fairy???

This is one of the main reasons I become extremely frustrated with Vendio. Oh you have this or that turned off. All I do is re list these things when the go off.

With the answer given for Sales manager pro what exactly will be stated on the payment instructions to make it work as At this time I am completely frustrated to understand. I only have been doing this for a couple 10 thousand bids yet it seems to be different each time i do it.

Bidders buy different things that cost different amounts to ship and insure. If I use the e-bay thing they are charged a total of the expenses, if i use Vendio it is combined. B_U_T I want to do it with sales manager pro and not have to re-works a couple of hundred bids after I do them.

If mail step is ending what exactly do i have to do to correct this??

Since there seems to be a Phantom who changes things maybe it would be of some use to have a password request when these changes are done so we can see when it happens as most of my bids close properly as some don't?

Ok I followed the instructions given and when I click on the checkout redirect and save it it is there. then i go to the e-bay Site Specifics and cick the e-bay check out there, it erases the other choice of e-bay redirect . Now what is it can it be done or not. This really is just a big waste of time doing this stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi again,

Ok, I didn't see this post before. Where exactly are you going in the site to make the checkout redirect turned off. You can turn on checkout redirect under post sale mananagement. However, what is it that you check under the Ebay link that turns off checkout redirect? Please let me know.

Thank you!

Bob
