I have several problems with my first attempt to sell an item on Yahoo.
First, the thumbnail or gallery picture does not show.
Second, the number of hits reported in my Vendio control panel summary is only 3, which matches the number of times I have looked at the auction myself. When I go to the actual auction listing Yahoo tells me the auction has been viewed 32 times.
Third, My auction is not showing up in the search results on Yahoo auctions! It did a few days ago but it doesn't now. That is a major problem.
Unfortunately, Yahoo's system does not allow us to post a thumbnail. To do this, you have to list on Yahoo directly. This is a restriction imposed by Yahoo, but you may be able to add a thumbnail image via their system after the item is launched.
Note that Yahoo and Vendio counters will not necessarily match. By default, your Vendio counter is a 'smart' counter, which will not count back to back hits from the same IP address (so someone refreshing the page will not be counted as multiple views.)
Once a listing is launched, we have no control over whether it is displayed in search results - you'd need to contact Amazon/Yahoo about this.
If you are having different issues with Amazon? If so, please let us know what specifically is happening.

Thanks Diana,
I appreciate the prompt reply to my post, but I am a bit disappointed by the response.
The Vendio counter is not registering any hits at all (other than me viewing my own auction)-- smart hits either. Yahoo says my auction has 39 pageviews, of which 3 are from me viewing it myself. That means the other 36 are from at least one other person. And since I doubt that one person hit refresh 35 times there were probably multiple people viewing the auction, but Vendio is not registering them.
Vendio can't add thumbnails to Yahoo or Amazon auctions. Auction results will be poor if there is no thumbnail on Yahoo or Amazon. We can't use Vendio Templates on Yahoo or Amazon either. I guess Vendio really only supports eBay. I understand that is not Vendio's fault, but that is the way it is.
I don't need Vendio's checkout features or post-auction features because I only list about 50 auctions per month and I have a good system already. I signed up because I was hoping to use some visually attractive standardized templates on multiple auction sites. The templates could speed up my listing times. They could also make my auctions look better -- but I guess that will only work for eBay. I will have to list on Yahoo and Amazon the old fashioned way.
Vendio's Control Panel Summary of all my auctions would make it easy to check the status of auctions on multiple sites, but it doesn't work well with Yahoo or Amazon. An accurate picture of the hits I get is mandatory in my opinion.
I like the auto-relist feature and I like the included picture hosting. I can save enough money to pay for Vendio's monthly fee by not having to pay for eBay's Picture Pack. I also like the Vendio Gallery. So Vendio does still have some attraction for me, but I was hoping for more. I will stick with it for a while longer and maybe I will get used to it.
