I just came upon an eBay auction by a Vendio user and I am wondering how they created their template. The auction number is 4752912442. Can anyone give me some info on how he did this?

Hi, looks like he uses the new inventory edition, maybe that explains it. Not sure tho'

dont worry samplersource ... honestly, *some* vendio rep will check in here a couple times per day to answer questions ... don't give up ... it's a good system here ...
I was with vendio many years, then recently tried a less expensive sponsor for my ebay sales ....... you get what you pay for ... I'm baaaaaack!!!

I use inventory edition and do not have that template. "estate" I too have been with Vendio for many years now and I too have tried others and none of them were as good or as worth the money as Vendio. I just want new templates because the ones Vendio has are boring and most are plain ugly!!

I too have been with vendio/auctionwatch for ever, and still cant figure out how to do the templates.but I wouldnt go to any other site as most of the time this site is easy to use,I'm not to bright when it comes to learning new things.I must agree with you they need to update their templates, maybe they should check out other sites that have really nice back grounds and stuff.
I am still wanting for them to tell me how to get my images in order
A thru Z so far they havent answered,I even done what they told me to and its still not right,oh well I guess I'll just have to wait.

Hello samplersource,
This particular user has used the blank Vendio template and had someone write up all of the HTML needed to list their auctions manually unfortunately, this is not one of the templates created through our workshop at this time.
If there are any specific styles you would like to see created in the workshop for use please let us know, were always looking for new ideas that aren't represented in the workshop already.
Regards,
Christopher

I would love to see better more professional looking templates. I cant speak for everyone but some of the templates that you have on here are corny.

Christopher: Books! You have no tempplates that I can find with books as a theme--and so many of us sell books. Please pass this on. I for one would be happy to take a look at whatever you folks come up with before you make it official, and I think others here would, too. Adele

Hello,
I'm sure you are aware of this but we do have some available. Either way, I've forwarded this thread on to our developers so they can see your requests.

Sonya: The only books template I've ever seen was schoolbooks, like for the beginning of the new school year. I want REAL books--old and new. Can you tell me where I can find such a template? I'd upload it right away. Thanks!

Something more professional and less cartoony would be great. I remember similar threads over the last year with suggestions being passed on, but nothing new has shown up. Books would be great - as suggested by Roadsmith- something that would be a bit more sophisticated than the templates that are now available.

A few months ago I'd gone through allllll of the templates, one at a time, very laborious, and there was no template for books except for the back-to-school one. I then posted a question here of the moderators, telling them that Ebay has a very nice one and wishing we had something similar on Vendio. I suppose there could be new templates I haven't seen an announcement for, but otherwise there's been no change.
Vendio: Do you realize how many of us still sell books on Ebay the old-fashioned way--not defecting to Half.com, not defecting to Amazon, sticking with Ebay via Vendio templates. We NEED the template that will represent us in a dignified fashion, not cutesy. Please!

I mentioned the books one a long time ago. I love Andale's template with the stacks of books on either side! I just want some more choices - I'm getting bored with the same ones all the time. Please add some more, especially one with books!

Hi, thedollladym.
You probably have found out by now, but under Manage Images, on the Standard Image page, click on View Options, just above the thumbnail photos. Then click on FILENAME, which is just beside the word THUMBNAIL. It will change them (also alphabetically) from accending or decending by using that link as a toggle.

Victorianbj: That's for photo images, correct? Do you know if there is a way to alphabetize the templates? It wasn't a problem a while ago, but now I have a lot and it gets a little difficult trying to find them now.

Hi, toyspast. Yes, Filename link that is for photo images. Sorry, I do not like most of the templates, so I use just one. I really would like something to go with antiques and 'pretty' things, and find them all very stark and modern looking, which does not work for me.
